🌙 loved this vlog. Totally agree on HOBE just so good every time and so hard to pick an SJM favorite...I did pick up the BN special editions, and hope HOFS has a matching version...at some point. So glad you liked Crowns of Oaths and Cruses...I feel exactly the same...love Rooke, waiting for Soren's redemption arc, and could be 100 pages less with same effect. J.Bree is giving us a real enemies to lovers and I'm good with this. I enjoy plenty of the reluctant allies but I wish we wouldn't be sold on an enemies to lovers arc when it's just really not. But oh well I'm still reading. Please pick up City of Ruin ... 😊

Thanks for recommending some of these books and sharing your honest thoughts about them 🤗 I'm honestly convinced to read The Crown of Oaths & Curses even more now lol! It just sounds really good and different and I like changing up a bit with my reading. Makes it more fun experiencing that. How did you get past how terrible of a person she was for the first four and a half books? I just cannot move past it because it was all so cruel and unnecessary. Like she was just a bully, not someone who was being mean to people who deserved it. It just felt so unjustifiable to me that even ACOSF, which is objectively well written and gorgeous, just pisses me off because I want to like her but I’d still rather see her torn limb from limb than allowed to stay in Velaris with all these people in the Court of Dreams who deserve better.

I was going to give A Crown Of Oaths And Curses four stars to because of the slow beginning but that cliffhanger ending I can't stop thinking about it, so I gave it five stars I really liked Rook as the FMC and I really hope Soren redeems himself book 2. Hopefully, there is more romance in book 2 🌙
