Reading and Northern F Units: Charging to Mauch Chunk

Sunday October 15th pushed the rainy weather of the previous day, and brought in beautiful fall weather. The air was crisp and the crews of the OSJT running with the R&N's two streamliners, were ready to make the climb into the Blue Mountains and into the town of Mauch Chunk, more well known as Jim Thorpe. With a full train of leaf peepers on board, lets follow the 270 as she leads the train North. Enjoy!
