I just love that sound of EMD's SD40-2's!!! I can't get enough of it! I used to live right across from the locomotive bypass and would hear the sound of EMD's on daily basis. I would fall asleep to EMD's good sound, I would wake up to it. I would see all kinds of SD40-2's, SD50's and 60's and all the other good EMD locomotives.

Yeah... The only other thing that comes close to sounding that good is the EMD *F59PH* that was used to pull Metrolink out here in California

I parked in that industrial center's parking lot, and just walked down the hill to the deck. The entrance is on Tuckerton Road just a few hundred feet to the right down from the intersection with PA-61.

They really 'love' to organize those cars :). I was there for about an hour, although they are usually there between 1 and 2 hours to organize and set-off cars.

I am not sure, but since it has a BDLX patch, it might be a drilling engine for the quarry at Pennsy Supply in Millards, which is not so far (35 miles) from its current spot. That could explain the misplacement.

The same place I took 425, this is where the 425 started its journey to Jim Thorpe, the RGQA was right behind 425. I think this place is called Tuckerton.

He is shoving them pretty quick, although I cut out the idle time, which wasn't very long. They are pretty much in full back-n-forth for 2 hours or more. I really enjoy watching these guys shift, you really can't see much of this on a Class 1 anymore, maybe CN.

Oh, that's BDLX's now, it had belonged to the Pennsy Supply quarry along the Harrisburg Line, but now it's in Pittston, PA, I don't know for what it is currently used.

Heh, yeah that looked familiar. I love those SD40-2's. I would like to see their SD38's and SD50's as well.

RBMN has no U-boats or GP7's, etc. The smallest units they have are SW8's and a SW1500, but they are used in the yard shifting and rarly visit this part of the line.
