I also just started a “Read around the world” journal (not as beautiful as yours though - I might have to create a companion 😊). When filling it in I go by the authors.

I don't know if I missed this information but do you fill it by the country from where the author is or the main location in the book? :) because sometimes there are in one book many locations and I wouldnt know which one to choose.

The way I've been doing it so far it's based on where the book is set. I know some people do it based on where the author is from and there is no right or wrong way to do it. It's your challenge so I would suggest you do it however you want to! In those examples where it's set in multiple locations I either pick the country I don't have yet in my list, or the country where the majority of the book is set on.
