Just a little suggestion for 2024. The list of items at the very beginning of a journal / book, with page numbers in numerical order is actually the contents page. The index goes at the back and is not in page number order but alphabetical order of topics / themes with relevant page numbers. I think the original bujo guy got them mixed up and unfortunately it seems everyone has followed him. I really hope one influencer will realise and let everyone know. 😊

Thank you for your recommendation! I personally prefer seeing the books I read for each month grouped together and that’s why I do it as I ago. I’m not trying to influence anyone a certain way. I’m doing what works best for me. Everyone is welcomed to use whatever works best for them :)

@@PsychonautJournaling Hi, I think you've misunderstood. Of course everyone can use whatever layout they like for their own journal. Obviously and without question. However, it is just a simple fact that an Index goes at the back in aplhabetical order. At the front, it's contents. What I'm trying to say is that everyone has mis-labelled their contents page adn called it index, which is not correct. It's a bit like saying the person who writes a book is the illustrator and the person who draws the pictures is the author. It's the wrong way round, not a matter of opinion.

WOW!!! I watch a lot of reading journal videos but this has to THE BEST I've ever seen!! Its so beautiful!!! At the moment I just use stencils and pens/pencils and everythings done by hand but I'm definitely going to try using scrapbook stuff and stickers, etc, next year. Are there any shops that you recommend?

Aww thank you so much!! For stickers I usually shop at Stickiiclub, pineberrypaper or AliExpress. For the scrapbooking papers I buy mine from either Michael’s or Joanne’s. I love the stamperia paper packs mostly cause they give me that vintage look I like.

This is my first time starting a reading journal and I didn't include an index which I'm just now realizing I think I need since my pages are so random 😅 OMG your A-Z Challenge for author name too is a great idea!
