reading books similar to my favorite disney movies

Hi Readers! As someone who adores Disney movies and obviously loves reading, I thought it could be fun to read books that were similar to some of my favorite Disney animated films.
I ended up narrowing down my favorites to Mulan, Big Hero 6, and Tangled. And through a lot of internet research I decided to read:
A Girl Called Samson by Amy Harmon (4.5★)
Renegades by Marissa Meyer (3.5★)
Tangled Up In You by Christina Lauren (3.25★)
P.S. I feel like I was yapping away after finishing Renegades (my apologies lol) and I totally forgot to mention that the prodigies in the book all have different abilities, similar to the superhero team in Big Hero 6.
Plus, Nova is big with tech and inventions which also reminded me of Hiro and his genius friends!
