Those dolls are often used to help women who had stillborns or baby passed away. It's to help with grief and loss. They are also used for dementia sufferers. Especially if they get sundowning and panic because they can't find their baby.

The realistic dolls are often for people dealing with infertility, miscarriage & stillborn babies. I've learned that they help with the greiving process. They also bring comfort to those living with dementia & alzheimers. My great-grandmother who lived with dementia didn't have a realistic doll, but she was comforted by her doll. She'd enjoyed being a child caregiver most of her life, so having a doll in her arms was very calming.

I had an Etsy seller do this, and when I inquired about where the item was, they told me to go to their FAQs page and read their shipping policy. So... basically... I had to know to go to a totally different place to find more information than what was already on their sales page. I didn't understand why they didn't just put that info on the sales page, as well. It makes it appear as if what they've provided is the full policy, and buyers are going to go off of that. 🙄 To be clear, there was shipping info on the sales page, and I inquired with the seller based on that. Only to find out that there was MORE shipping information that I was supposed to just know to go treasure hunt out 😮💨. Definitely done on purpose, so this seller could get away with taking their time actually sending the item.

pretty certain it’s fake. those pods take a few seconds to let you in/out so enough time to take a pic and if they let you in, they’d definitely let you out. there’s also enough room in them to sit which you think they’d be doing after 5 hours. not standing there with their kit on as if they’d only just walked in. (because they probably have) not only that but you’d think there’d be other people to call for help. and also the lighting is very bright as if it’s daylight. the gyms are staffed from 6am til 6pm so the “unstaffed” thing makes no sense. but lets say we give then the BOD and they were rescued when staff arrived, we have to assume they would’ve had to have attempted to leave the gym at about 1am. would say they have bigger problems if they’re working out at midnight.

The thing with Reborn babies is sometimes for people struggling mentally and/or emotionally, often after suffering miscarriage, and taking care of this lifelike doll helps them work through it. A friend of mine did this after recommendations from her therapist. But Reborn babies and other lifelike dolls can also simply be collector’s items because they’re works of art. I have a lifelike doll (not Reborn) and I enjoy posing her so that she’ll freak out other people, it’s great. My cousin and her husband once had to take her on a plane for me after I moved to another town and I had swaddled her, and they got so many angry looks because they held her under their arms or just “too casually” for what looked to be a year old baby 😂

The only problem I've had with Vinted was a woman who mixed her labels up in the post office and sent me three pairs of denim shorts instead of a jumper. I offered to send them direct to the lady who had bought them (at my own expense), i sent them tracked so i know she got them and she literally said she was going to hold my jumper to ransom until she got her shorts. I know she got them from the tracking and she gave the original seller awful feedback so she had received them. She took three weeks to send my jumper and it arrived in a binbag with a scrawled sticker on and it absolutely stunk of smoke and cat pee 🤮

Former teacher here 🙋🏽 Another trick for choosing the correct spelling of “wear” vs “where” is that when you’re using the word “where” that means a location, remind yourself that the words “where” and “there” are the same spelling except for the “w” and the “t”. I find it helpful to think “WHERE is it? It’s over THERE.” The bonus is that this also helps you with picking the correct spelling of “there” for location.
