Edinburgh literally even through a camera is straight up fall vibes!! But also, Tibs pulling the puzzle apart and YEETING it straight off the table is the best thing to exist 🤣

I totally feel you on the guessing plots front. My family won’t let me say who I think did it in a thriller/mystery because 95% of the time I’m right and ruin it for them 😂

I grew up reading mysteries and thrillers and still today they are my top genre so very little surprises me. However, I don't mind if a book doesn't shock me if it's entertaining, the characters are great and the journey is good. The "twists" themselves might not be shocking, but the way they get there sometimes can be

Just pausing to say, my mom gets annoyed when I read around her because I make sounds. If a book is particularly gripping, sometimes I grip by chin, and I've given myself bruises because of that. Ah, reading is just so much fun! And yeah that you enjoyed They Never Learn. It wasn't on my radar until it was one of two options in a readathon, and I really enjoyed it as well!

I have read They Never Learn and loved it. Have you read the Sweet Pea series and about a woman serial killer? It is really good. I am currently reading extreme horror books. I just finished Survivor by J. F. Gonzalez and Lovesick by Jon Athan. These books have a lot of body horror and are meant to shock you and disturb you. They are not for the squeamish Make sure you check trigger warnings before reading. It is weird to say that I like these books but they are so wild that you can't help reading to see what is going to happen next. 🕯
