*sighs and draws up my TBR* As for the books: The Tainted Cup is REALLY good (except for one scene which was questionable to me; if you end up reading it soon, I'd love to hear what you think of it lol) Voyage of the Damned was honestly disappointing to me, but I know a bunch of other people love it. I may just be in the minority. Assistant to the Villain needed SO MUCH MORE editing lol bc it's not very good.

I'm pretty sure that the illustrator for the Tainted Cup also did the covers for Godkiller and The Book That Woudn't Burn. They are clearly in their fantasy book cover era!

So nice to see you back! Also what you said about Phoenix Keeper made me think: Romantasy has definitely lost most meaning since the trend has been picked up by publishing, much like enemies-to-lovers as a trope. I've noticed a lot of new fantasy releases being incorrectly painted with the romantasy brush if you will. Also worth noting, that it seems like most women and femme authors are being put in this category whether its true or not (much like how they often get pushed into the YA category too).

Loved this. Nightwatching terrified me. The St Mary’s series is fun and the audio books are great. The Measure disappointed me, great premise but not executed well.
