if i was just born during your band's era i would have been for sure one of Rivermaya's diehard fans and would surely write a letter to you. it's a shame though i was born in the early 2000s and was still not in this world during that time. it would have been a very wonderful memory for me to witness you and your band perform during your days. but still, your songs became a part of my youth since i started to love it when i was in high school. it amazes me that you didn't just read the letters but actually replied to it, it would have been crazy to receive a letter from someone you look up to, nakakabilib yung efforts mo there's nothing like that now or even no one. that period was truly wonderful and all i can do is dream that i was present during that time. wish that this letter was sent from the 90s but im sending this to you in the year of 2021. your songs are really timeless and it's an honor that i had a chance to hear such masterpiece. its better late than never right?

My music hero, a legend!!! My favourite songwriter in the Philippines! Opened for RM in Iloilo several times, and a few times in Manila. St Scholastica was the most unforgettable one for me. Hope I didn’t annoy you as I handed you several demos of our songs (tapes.. and eventually CD’s) everytime we opened for you guys 😆 Same story as some of the folks that mailed you... I bought several cassette tapes of the first two albums, got borrowed and never came back to me 😂 Eventually got CD’s in college as I had enough money to save for CD’s. man, I discovered maya's himala in the radio when i was a kid then instantly got hooked in Rivermaya. After that my father knew that I really like Maya's songs, my father later bought me a second hand Atomic Bomb cassette album which he found in a garage sale. Rivermaya and the songs that you composed became the backbone of my music influence. Keep it up Sir Corics, great content as always! This video brought me back to my youth! I remember going to Field Trip at Cuneta Astrodome. Can’t forget the performance with the Eraserheads. If I remember it correctly you sang an Oasis song. Super awesome.
