Nakakatuwa isipin na instead of just telling us the story behind the meaning of 214 is dinala mo talaga kami sa perspective mo at sa mga places kung saan at papano nabuo yung kanta. Sa loob ng 21 minutes at 23 seconds na yun, for a moment, I felt like I was in your world. (baduy ba? haha) You took me to another dimension Rico. Napaka detailed mo mag kwento at smooth yung transition ng scenes with the story you are telling. my VERY OWN meaning of "214" ay nanggaling mismo sa experience ko. February 14, 2014 sinagot ako ng girlfriend ko at exactly 2:14 nang madaling araw. Sobrang gandang timing. Kaya by the time na ikinisal kami February 4, 2021 (21-4-2) this song was our wedding song. Greatest day of my life.

Well, if you look into my eyes, then you should know (If we look up to Him we find wisdom) That there is nothing here to doubt, nothing to fear (That if we are within His presence, we neither doubt nor fear) But of course, this is just an interpretation and my personal perspective. Love is a universal language and therefore it transcends all types of relationships (including our relationship with God). Hence, probably the coincidence. Or so I thought.

Nakakatuwa naman malaman yung story behind "214" and straight from the songwriter pa. Marami na rin ako narinig na theories before, and I guess I kinda get why Nathan thought of 2/14 like Valentine's; haha, it's also 'coz of the first working title, "The Proposal." If you recheck the lyrics, it's about a person professing love to another, saying they'll be there 'til forever. And cool enough, when the camera zoomed in on the paper showing the first line, "Am I real?" I thought, too, that that was the number of letters per syllable. I love the song, and many people I know also love it. Rico Blanco, ever since I learned that you wrote the songs for Rivermaya, I've been amazed and thought that you are a gifted songwriter. Glad I grew up listening to OPM bands, lots of beautiful memories.

The First time I've heard 214 I fell in love with it and it will go to my all time list OPM Band songs. 214 is like a cypher we must decode it. We are listening to tape pa non rewind kami ng rewind para malaman ang title. Back when I bought the album last 1994, and I also bought the Songhits (di na uso ngayon). I also emerge with the thinking, "bakit 214 ang title ng song na ito". When I took the songhits and check the lyrics and chords, I look into the lyrics from start to the last. I could only find this, "Am I real" which happens to be the 1st sentence of the song. I really didn't confirmed this till now and I just smiled and said, "Wow, I finally confirmed my guess to the title fo the song after all these years" :-D Thank you so much! Naliwanagan na rin ako after all those years.
