I'm way too sensitive to read off hate comments on my channel. I just delete them, convinced that most are sad little trolls with nothing better to do than spread negativity. They need prayer... BTW, LOVE the way you handle this! :D

To be honest, saying that Cedar Point is an amusement park instead of a theme park is like pointing at a train station and saying, "Look at the castle!" I wonder if that guy ever found out what the thing he was showing his kids was.

Been working at a park for nearly 7 years now. I've seen far worse guests. At least you had legitimate complaints about the park. And it's true. Even great places can have bad experiences.

My husband and I have attended the following national ACE events: 2005 Con, Holiwood Night’s and Beech Bend Bash in 2006, Phantom Fright Night’s at Kennywood/Knoebel’s PPP/ACE Day at Lakemont Park in 2007, 2010 Con, 2011 Summer Conference, 2012 Con at Dollywood and Carowinds, 2014 Con at California’s Great America/Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk/Gilroy Gardens, 2015 Preservation Conference, and 2017 Preservation Conference at Adventureland/Arnolds Park/Valley Fair.

I am just going to say this to those who have called Sir willow a liar etc and made these comments. This is Sir Willows experience on that day, these events happen everywhere. Im in the uk and i am greatful Sir Willow takes the time to post videos of his visits as i wouldnt have a chance to see them other wise. I look forward to all new videos and hope to be a patreon soon. I enjoy both channels Sir Willow has and to be honest my personal opinion is the best channel on youtube. Oh man, these people would have so much to pick on in my videos. I just have fun. I know no stats or coaster company names or anything like that. I don't even know many of the terms describing coaster elements, but I'm learning little by little. I LOVE coasters, but I don't geek out over them with all the details and such. Good stuff, man.

So sorry you had this very bad experience at Cedar Point! I saw your video and just cringed at how you were treated and what your experience was. im happy you came back and gave CP another try, and things were better :) Im from north central Indiana, and have been going to Cedar Point for years. Yeah you're gonna have bad days, bad experiences, rides will break down, it will rain, a LOT, and fun times will be spoiled. My family has had numerous bad days at the park, but we made the best of it, and CP never failed to impress us in the end, which is why we kept going back. Thank you for your honesty, your humor, you insight, and clarification, and wonderful spirit, you're a complete joy to watch. Thanks for taking is on your them park travels and showing us the GOOD in life!

Ah, the Cedar Point fanboy. They're fierce animals; the deadliest type of fanboy. I encountered one in the deep wilderness of the Coaster Studios youtube comments section. It was mid-May of '18. I stared it down, right in it's piercing, red, evil eyes. It clawed at me, and spat it's horrific flames at my face. But I was able to fend him off, and survived by the skin of my teeth. Stay safe, my friends.

People are ridiculous 😂 we've all had bad theme park experiences... I once went to DCA when there were forest fires in the area and over half the rides we're shut down, the staff just kept giving us different reasons the rides we're closed and when they would reopen, it was annoying. However I typically have amazing experiences there. I felt really bad for the people who only had one day there and that was their experience. People need to lighten up every theme park (or amusement Park) has bad days and if we experience one we're allowed to talk about it.

Most of those comments were absolutely ridiculous and some even show extremely bad grammar as well. I actually had someone tell me that I’m wasting my money because they thought I don’t go on any of the rides since most of my videos are off ride videos. I had to explain to them that parks generally forbid on ride videos without permission and the consequences are quite steep for those that try and do it without permission. I get a kick out of some of the posts I get.

LOL! Funny video. I have not chatted with you since dinner at Crystal Palace this last January; but I have been watching your videos. I'm from Ohio originally, and I've frequented Cedar Point MANY times. The last time we went years ago, we didn't have such a great time. Something seemed a bit off on that visit, it happens. I'm sure that could be what happened to you the day you went. One other park that was not so enjoyable, though people rave about it, is Busch Gardens, VA. It was an OK visit, but it could have been our day at the park that it just wasn't enjoyable; it happens. Oh the comment section....OY! Sadly manners have seem to go out the window now a days. I love your channel, the content and love when your family stop by.

You should try to come to the UK and go to thorpe park! I went there recently and there are some really cool and intense roller coasters including IP coasters like Saw and Walking Dead! Also Stealth is awesome

I went to SDC this summer and even it was not having a great day. It rained and was cold and the food was cold but that's really the only bad time I've ever had. But at least customer service was still good as ever.

As someone who grew up in SW Michigan, I can tell you Cedar Point has kind of a cult following. It is the closest major park for many miles around in that part of the midwest. Now, I have heard from people that Cedar Point is much more clean and looked-after than say Six Flags, but I cannot verify that. All I can say is that CP used to bill itself as the Amazement Park when I was a kid and it truly was (1980?). What you experienced was a really bad day and I cannot believe how they treated you. I think they had flunkies working the end of the season who had no idea what to do. But you got bad comments from some of those cult-like people who kinda worship CP as THE place to go in the summer. I hope you can go back sometime and have a great experience!

That was 10 years ago. I would highly recommend going back. Management is a lot different than it was so consider a revisit in 2020.

yes, it's long gone, but it is an example of Cedar Point using theming. It's not the only one, just the first one that came to mind. You could also think about their Frontier Trail. :-)

Hey sir Willow. I noticed something fun. And it's in no way my intent to offend you or make fun of you. But at some point during the video I looked closely at your face and noticed there are some facial lines between your eyebrows and under your eyes. And I just cant unsee it as the Attari logo. Fum fact: Attari are the creators of my favorite game ever: Rollercoaster Tycoon. In that game you have to build themeparks and rides and other related things :D So in a way it's kinda connected. Thats means Kennywood with their announcement today is now a theme park!!!! They are adding a Steeler themed area with a new Steeler themed coaster called yea the Steel Curtain!!!! It adds to their old Kennywood Section and their Thomas the Tank Engine area.

The inarticulate comment by the poster chastising you for going after 9/11 had some merit to it as tourist business all across the country and these companies were hemorrhaging money so they weren’t giving any back. The person you were in contact with that promised the refund probably got laid off as many did and there was no one following up. I was in NYC on 9/11 and without going into a long story the city was devastated on so many levels. I also happened to near Disneyland while you were there in 2001. I was supposed to leave NY on the Friday after 9/11. I left on 9/18. I only visited Downtown Disney not the parks. I wanted but my father was not in the best of health that day. Enjoy your site.
