I am currently in grad school and picking my thesis topic alone was difficult, I can't even begin to imagine how difficult it was to nail down a dissertation! I so get the tiredness after a day in the archives! As enthralling as it is, it's tiring. Particularly after the post adrenalin drop, when finding something that 'fits' into your research ;]

I love your videos, thanks for putting them together. I'm also a PhD student, I also teach and i've just started my teaching qualification too so life is a bit busy and sometimes disorganised. I've been scouring the internet for a specific video but so far, to no avail. I would love a video in which you created a step by step 'organise your life video' in terms of to do lists, deadlines and planning that I can literally pause, do that task and then move on to step two and so on. Almost like a follow along. I know you have your templates but they don't really work for me particularly being in the sciences. I think that you most likely understand what it is like to juggle so many different things that it can become overwhelming. This sort of video would help immensely. Plus I would likely return to it in the future each time I need a 'to do' reset! Just an idea for you! Thanks for all you do and good luck with your diss :)

In one of your past videos you mentioned that the history of the Russian aristocracy interest you, so I just wanted to share 2 books I read that I believe you might like: Former People: The final days of the Russian aristocracy by Douglas Smith and After the Romanovs: Russian Exiles in Paris from the Belle Époque Through Revolution and War by Helen Rappaport.
