I read a mix of ebook and physical. While ebook can be more convenient at times, it can never replace physical in my heart 🥰

Agreed, and i find reading a physical book to be more immersive and i find it keeps reading better more authentic for me like i wouldnt forgot that i am reading a book or that i had read a book . I just like book smell :D

Gosh, sorry to comment again, but you are speaking my language. I too read multiple books at a time and various means of reading. I also am the kind of person that once I am obsessed with something I cannot stop! Either way, who cares if its excessive. Reading is so good for you. It is a healthy obsession.

I read physical books, ebooks on my older kindle 3 with keyboard, and my iPad mini :) I like to read on my mini the most. I listen to audio books but it can take a while to finish and I forget what I am reading

I found your video while searching for reading journal set ups for 2022. Coming from the book community, I can tell you that you are no way excessive by reading all 3. You are efficient! 😂 We are all obsessed! Also it’s so fun seeing someone reading ACOMAF for the first time. I’m sure you’ve finished by now, but damn it’s good. 😏

You can pull up your browser on split page and just hold and drag the cover images into good notes without needing to save/crop each one.

I love the convenience of reading ebooks, and my kindle is set up dark mode and black background white text, which I find nicer for my eyes and headaches than white paper with light reflecting off it. That said… I still buy a physical copy of all my favourites because there’s nothing quite like the feel of a physical book, the smell, the paper texture, the weight, and bonus: people don’t do the judgy commentary about you staring at your phone/device. And I get most of my favourites as audiobooks too. Because sometimes I need my eyes for other tasks but I really just want to be reading. Plus sometimes the audiobook version is EVEN BETTER :o case in point, Pippa DaCosta’s messenger series has sound effects along with different narrators, K.M. Shea’s Magiford books all have dual narration (fmc and mmc voice) and they’re really well done with humour and sadness and all of the feels coming across clearly, and W.R. Gingell’s between series has excellent narration- only one narrator (but the books are single POV so that makes sense) but she’s brilliant at conveying the attitude of not just our MC (a teenage orphan in Tasmania) but also somehow sounding just right as the sulky Korean vampire that doesn’t speak English, and the uppity behindkind fae as well. In short, enjoy your books in all the ways!

Expanding on Audible, I wish there was a way to change the volume range- I mostly enjoy listening to ToG, but for emotional impact and integrity to the story as written, there’s parts that are whisper quiet and parts that are LOUD, and my ears sometimes hate me a bit if my hands are full and I can’t adjust quick enough.

Wow, that seems like a lot of work, even though the result is amazing! I really enjoyed seeing all the artistic touches you put in. One thing I think I will do is the collage of pictures of books I’ve read and to be read. I’m nearing retirement, so I’ve splurged and got quite a few Folio Society and Easton Press books, so it would be nice to have pictures of some of the amazing artwork. By the way, I ran across this video as I was looking for book collection apps. I ended up going with BookBuddy. With most of mine, since they don’t seem to be in most online resources and don’t have a barcode label, I’ll have to put in the ISBN and then take a picture of the cover (and/or slipcase). I have got mostly classics, science fiction, mystery, and Harry Potter. I’m enjoying some of the old children’s fiction, like Grimm’s and other fairy tales, as well. Anyway, thanks a lot for sharing. I like your attitude. It’s very calming.

I watched this vid while organizing my own digital book journal. it was so relaxing!! I recently re-found my love for books, so seeing you so passionate about reading makes me so happy. my personal recommendation for you is House of Hollow by Krystal Sutherland. if you love twisted fantasy fairytales, check it out! (it’s not gore or horror, just eery. the descriptions really set the mood for each chapter/scene). anyways, thanks for sharing the vid!

I use your reading journal, my question to you is, "Is there a way to bring a quote page after the Book Review page? While I am reading a book there at times there are several quotes I want to store right after without having to go to the end of the planner? Thank you in advance for your response.

I love the ACOTAR series, especially the second one! Scribd isn’t really unlimited though. If you listen to like two ‚bigger‘/more famous books you can only listen to niche ones for the rest of the month. Not sure about the exact rules, but you I‘ve had books I wanted to listen to saved and then been told they‘re not available anymore until a certain date 😂 even contacted them and they told me that they have restrictions. I don‘t think it‘s excessive to have three ways of reading! I mainly use kindle and audio, since it‘s ‚easier‘ but sometimes I just ‚have to‘ buy a physical book 😂 And there‘s nothing that can top Kindle Unlimited! Maybe Scribd would if you could actually read the books on kindle rather than just on the app.. I like your planner, although I’m not using a digital planner since I‘m using Notion for basically everything 😂 idk why or how I even ended up on your channel but I still love your videos..

This is like the 5th time I’ve watched this video cuz it is just everything lol question though. So I have found a lady that does physical bullet journaling for her reading journal and she had a couple ideas that I’d love to incorporate. Would I be able to add pages to the end and create a spread of my own? Thanks! ❤

I like reading on my iPad/phone/kindle better than a physical book. I’m trying to convince myself to read one audiobook and one book on my iPad at once but for me to do it I need someone else to tell me to do it so I’m not going to do it yet, you know? 😂 iykyk
