I have a question for anyone willing to answer in less than..10 hours? Well Bast once complained about being called a type of shape changing Fae or 'demon' creature and I *think* I remember him saying what species he actually was...but I read all books a bit quick so I don't even remember which book it was in let alone where if anyone knows if his specific species farther than Fae creature was actually revealed then please tell 😅

Took a bit more than 10 hours, I'm traveling away from my kingkiller set 😅. BUT The fae that Bast was complaining about was called the Mahael-uret or 'skindancer', only fae that isnt weak too iron but holly crowns supposedly keep them from possessing you. heres the wiki about them kingkiller.fandom.com/wiki/Skin_dancer

@Swanshawn What I don't get is, is the whole series meant to be just his backstory? Aren't there things happening in the current day that will need to be dealt with? I wonder if he will continue to make stories set in the world after Doors of Stone. I also think he's an unreliable narrator. First one was like HP and the Philosophers Stone somehow

@@Snoop_Dugg Yeah its weird, the orginal frame which i think is causing doors of stone to take so long was that Kvothe was going to tell his story in 3 nights (books) but then you have to do that and also wrap up all the backlash and deal with him being in an inn. I think we'll either see a massive book or he'll break the frame and not do a trilogy. I do know that Patrick Rothfuss said after the king killer stuff he said he'd write more books in this universe

Don’t touch this series. It’s not going to get finished. Rothfuss just loves the attention and teasing. The writing is ok - the story had potential but if you think this is the most amazing book in the genre, you must be fairly new to it.
