Live Transmission Temperature would be clutch for tourers, overlanders, and offroaders!

I think anyone can figure out how to display and configure this data, even I could. It's a little more advanced when you try to put this data to practical use. Make a video about how to understand the data displayed. Might sell more units if people knew how to work it and what all it could be used for. It shows some data, great, now how can that help me diagnose or monitor an issue?

I bought my bluedriver years ago because it has the ability to read automotive diesel engines. Other readers at that time that could do this were much more expensive. I use it for everything and love this tool. I am sad someone stole my bluedriver sticker that came with it. Lol.

I am trying to decide on weather to get this as a guage display for my 08 ford diesel to keep an eye on fuel pressure, oil temp and coolant temp. does this display all 3? i wish they had a complete list of live data sensors it will show. thanks!
@fernogaspar6 ай бұрын
@diplomat-gs hard to say which fuel pressures it would read. I would guess both supply and high pressure readings would be available. Coolant temp and oil temp most likely. Get one, try it, if it doesn't do what you want, sell it or return it. With that VT based international engine, you definitely want a reader that can see your high pressure numbers when your puck seals start failing and you're trying to diagnose hard starts or no starts.

I bought one after seeing the review on Amazon. No one else did offer free updates which was the main reason I bought it and found it is superior in everyway. Great product.

My Blue driver reads my 94 Lexus as a 96 Lexus but I don't think that's a big issue I do have a transmission shift solenoid A Electrical code P0753 But I have been getting by by shifting to low at stop signs and stop lines and that way I can get away quickly but recently I'm getting a stall at low RPM, I wonder what live data I might look at that might point to a part that needs replacing? of course this could be separate or related to the transmission code. My advice on club Lexus says to separately check short-term fuel trims the Ignition advance and the mass air flow sensor to maybe catch the moment of the stall, maybe indicating a part to replace, I'll hook it up and take a look but do you know if these 3 areas 1 the short-term field trims 2 ignition advance or 3 the mass air flow sensor are live data items?

Is it possible to read Accel in x, y and z axis for live data? Also tire pressure, brake position and steering wheel angle? If not, do you have a product that does?

It mostly depends more on the vehicle, I have a Toyota so I get a lot of data but I will update you.

Good morning guys I have a question about my blue driver live mode? I have a Subaru which has a wideband O2 sensor and my bluedriver reads it in volts and it doesn't seem to move at all. After looking on KZbin and Google at videos of professional mechanics. They describe diagnosing problems with wideband O2 sensors in milliamps. I was wondering if I could change the settings on my blue driver wideband O2 sensor live data to milliamps. Can you please help me with this problem?
@LemurMonitors3 жыл бұрын
Hello! The vehicle decides how the O2 sensor data is reported - for wideband it could be in volts, mA, or lambda but this is up to the car (not the scanner). Ultimately all three show the same thing and would behave the same way, just the units and values would be different. Note that if this is a post-cat sensor (#2) it should be relatively flat, also you may want to check your display range - say for example you're seeing small (~0.1v) variations but your display range is set to 0-50V then it may be compressed down and look like a flat line. If you have any questions you can contact support any time through the app under 'more' and 'contact us'

Since so many modern cars are turbo charged and have direct fuel injection will it show boost press and high press fuel pump pressure

F, not any of my cars, you must be buying newer junk cars with tiny engines or one of those overweight small penis Dodge Ram pieces of junk. They drive like boat filled with cement. It is crappy trucks like that that made me get a V6 so I can avoid them.

Hi, just wanted to know if the Bluedriver does TPMS & Airbag diagnostics on all vehicles? I got 2007 Hyundai Sonata and I got both TPMS and Airbag lights on.

From what I understand, there are separate databases for vehicles, and regular updates. If they don't have something for a particular vehicle, it may be coming soon.

What if we can't find the data we need? Like oil pressure. Doesn't exist at all and that's one of the basic and most important metrics

Hi Possible to monitor the CVT Fluid temperature for Subaru outback 2010 2.5i Japan manufactured With blue driver? Any help appreciated Cheers
@LemurMonitors3 жыл бұрын
Hi Kumar! Unfortunately transmission temperature is not part of the OBDII standard live data set and is not currently supported by BlueDriver. We are starting R&D on displaying ATF temp for Chrysler & Toyota (the two most common requests for fluid changes) but there is no full ETA for release, or a list of what manufacturers will follow. New features are added in order of demand so I'll record your vote!

I understand how to view live data. What I don't understand is when I go to view saved live data, my only option is to share it, not view it. I went to live chat, and it said no one is online right now. Please help.

This thing doesn't track fuel consumption (mpg)? Very disappointing considering that's big reason I bought it
@toriless4 ай бұрын
Why? The cars tell you that every time shut down and continuously, oh wait, you did not buy a Toyota, I see. Your problem. Why do people bother buying anything not made by Toyota or Honda?

Save log files doesn't work sometimes. I just lost 54 minutes of testing. I "sent to email" but then it wasn't at email. We should be able to set it to save log files automatically.

If not i think i wood want to return it. I cud just get a china one.. works the same for not even 1/3 price i ecpected more.

At the moment we perform passive diagnostics only, we will be looking at bidirectional communication which will allow us to write data and send commands to the vehicle in the future, but there aren't currently any timelines for when this might be done. If you have any other questions please contact us any time!

Most scanners under $100 lack ABS, SRS, Transmission, and other modules that are not included in the OBD II standard. Not to mention their poor compatibility and connectivity. This is by far one of the best wireless OBD readers available, you just haven't learned to use it properly. IMAP is monitored using the live data feature. You can use this to see if the sensor is behaving oddly. I'm sure your vehicle would also spit some codes related to fuel delivery or ignition. You'll notice a drop in fuel economy and often a rough idle. Do some research.
