Any ideas where these usually break ! ? Iv got a 06 with 155k. Domt want to break down on the side do the highway I did notice some belt squeak last winter that was strange but it’s gone now in summer and after winter. If I go in and do pulleys and belt which I did a few back at 90k I feel like it be the best time to do water pump and fan clutch LOL. Of course

With my 2011 the temperature gauge will run about halfway up then suddenly jump to the top of the scale and the warning will tell me to idle the engine. i have tried a number of ways to bleed the system but none have worked so far.. Where i live the temptress get up in the 110 degree range.during the summer and when this happens. i have tested the thermostst and the water pump seem to bee working fine.

What do you do if the PCM relay continues to go bad? My dad has a 2004 F-150 that wouldn't start. Checked it and the relay was the problem. Put in a new relay and it worked fine for about 9 months. Then it happened again. Replaced the relay and it was good for about 3 months. Happened again. Now it's popping relays about every 4-5 weeks or so. I've also noticed that the center pin hole on the fuse box for that relay is slightly disfigured / melted (like it's getting really hot for some reason). Any ideas as to what might be causing this to happen or what I should check / replace next? I'm thinking of getting another fuse box from another truck of the same year (in case there's a short or something in this one) and just swapping them out.

Let's see did I miss something no radiator flush,No running water unto clear ,block is still filled with the old fluid, heater core still with old fluid, Heat wasn't put on to help circulation. Guys your videos influence guys that look for a way to do this kind of stuff if you going do it do it right and not your interpretation of this 1/2 stepping.

So I’ve replaced this module, fuel pump and the fuel pressure sensor. Still having same issue. When I changed the fuel pump it ran great for a half a block and died

An easy 6 hours job! 4 hours to try to find this $&?%* 10mm socket 1.5 hours to go to the nearest hardware store to buy a damn 10mm socket, and back 20 minutes to do the job 10 minutes to clean up and crack a beer!

They said 0449 is usually a gas cap issue. My understanding is that a 0442 (small leak) is usually a gas cap issue. 0449 points to the evap solenoid.

About to do this on my ‘11 Impala. Gave my daughter the “service traction control” and “service stabilitrak” warnings. Took to to a place to read the codes, and they came up with replacing the accelerator position sensor. Thanks for the walkthrough on this!
