In fact because of Kevin's vids it brought me back into the RC world after being out 20+ years. And all the vids helped me choose my drive style I want, and settle on the vehicle to do it with. Ok Kev, I used to get super mad when something would break, no matter what it was. Now I just step back and laugh because it was just an item and can be fixed or replaced if I want. I've been watching Kev for about 6 years and learned a great deal from him. I find him to be quite entertaining, honest and a man with integrity. I enjoy watching him and his friends getting together and having RC Fun! I got into RC not long ago and much of that decision can be attributed to Kevin Talbot, among a few others. Something to consider Kev, this is an outlet for some and they dont have much. It isnt inherently replaceable due to cost and it means something to them so seeing you ripping up your cars that they also own can seem like you're being disrespectful to something that holds much value to them. I dont agree and think you should do what you want with your stuff but the perspective is helpful I think

Keep doing what you do boss. I’ve enjoyed and found informative all of your Rc videos. I own a local hobby shop and there are some over the top toxic and petty folks here as well. I just keep enjoying what I do and let them poison themselves with their own venom and just keep doing what I enjoy. I’ve gotten started messing with the KZbin aspect of what I do to showcase some of my Rc vehicles just purely for my own enjoyment. If folks like it great, if they don’t that’s fine as well. I do the Rc thing for my own break from the world. Most the time I’m happier messing with my rigs by myself.

Been there in a different hobby/community so many idiots trying to be me and messing it up by going to far. To many fools snuck in and it ceased to be about helping anymore just putting Others down to progress themselves. Hence pretty much leaving that community now. I have had many RC cars, looking to get something again, I always hammered the hell out of them for the first week or so, you quickly learn what breaks, you then get a good stock of them spares or hop up variants. You will still break it, but repairing while the battery's still have charge, or you still got fuel to use, I am happy, 2-10 min repairs, and back at it. And has for Kevin damaging the cars, its all part of the hobby and the fun to be had, it's the very reason spares are available and plentiful.

Yup, haters gotta hate, but ignoring them is the best response 🤣. As you say, it doesn’t matter what car you have, as long as it puts a smile on your face, your doing it right! As for the way you treat your cars, the extreme bashing shows where all the weak points are on any given car so people can watch your videos and form an opinion of their own as to which car might be best for them. I find your videos both entertaining and informative. The other serious channels are boring and it seems they refuse to really drive there RC's. It's a shelf queen culture. Audience size rules out, that's democratic. Being concerned with the social hierarchy of the RC world is asking for trouble. The worst of the worst need to be on top..... but will never be.

I watched a ton of videos on the corally cars and decided to buy a Punisher. Its not that durable and ive had to fix a ton of stuff. Not to mention overheating and shutting down even with a smaller pinion. I still like the truck and run the hell out of it. but I chose the E-revo 2.0 over the punisher any day for thrashing.

This is hilarious but unfortunately this is the small percentage of outspoken people tearing society apart because they’re unhappy in their own lives, nothing else. Talbot’s videos are awesome!! I love watching Kev take RC’s to the breaking point because I would never bash mine even close to what he does to his so if they hold together for him I know they’ll definitely be good for me, haha!! Kev is great for the RC world, people are just jealous. Keep up the vids, they’re absolutely awesome!! The #1 guy I come to see how a particular RC will hold up.
