Thanks for another interesting video on English literature. Ill certainly have a read of one or two of these when I get a chance, particularly the wedding of sir Gawain: you have left me interested to find out the ending.

Yeeees girl. II thought reading aloud would make no difference, and then one day in class I had to give it a try and it was SO MUCH easier.

It really makes a lot of difference, so glad you agree! And it's just great fun to read Middle English aloud!

I imagine that trying to read Middle English must have been an interesting experience for someone whose first language is not English. I remember seeing Camiões in the original spelling and thought how weird it was. Great to have you back!
@Medievalannie3 жыл бұрын
It was an interesting experience at first! But honestly, knowing Portuguese really helped me with the pronunciation of vowels, and with understanding some words that were farther away from modern English!

Annie! You're back it's so good to see you again. Middle English is like trying to read the KJV very difficult at times but they are also the most profound. Macbeth and Romeo and Juliet are absolute classics. Stay true, classy, and above all your beautiful self
