I read both Era 1 and Era 2 of Mistborn for the first time last year- loved the entire series! The end of the first trilogy you can really see how much foreshadowing and groundwork Sanderson laid with small details in the first book. Then Era 2 was wildly different in tone (much lighter) and was so much fun.

I think Era 1 is overall better written/plotted but I do love the humor of Era 2 and seeing how the events of Era 1 shaped it. The ending of Lost Metal had me bawling though.
