correction. It was not built by Baldwin. It was rebuilt by the Reading Railroad during WW2 from a existing 2-8-0 consolidation with parts from Baldwin and General Steel Castings.

Yes this is true. In the video I referenced the loco’s original form which was a Baldwin 2-8-0, built in 1925. In the video’s description there is a bit more elaboration, for those who want to learn more.
