This is what I love about R&N, they don't treat thier steam like a special thing so much as truly treating it like just another locomotive on the roster. They let it work like it was meant to.

This was actually the locomotives original purpose, Reading RR T1s were meant exclusively for freight but were equipped for passenger use if needed during WW2

It’s probably to stand out from other railroads, and to give rail fans and people a chance to see a steam locomotive pulling revenue freight which you never see these days
