Thanks Mark! I agree 100% about the Reading + Big yos about the Lehigh River Bridge, it was pretty refreshing to stand in the water. Also in Jim Thorpe we got such a great smoke show but i cut out most of the beginning because once 425 got moving she almost hit a car, so they stopped and started again. It would've made the video too long

I have a soft spot for 425 thanks to it being one of the four survivors of the L&E. I was planning on visiting this during the summer, but corona said otherwise. Hopefully next summer!

Excellent compilation of the return of the Lehigh Gorge Scenic railway with 425. I appreciate the effort you've put in to get some excellent views of it in action. I've been up there a few days recently too watching it run, filming it, and riding behind it. That steam engine is one of the most beautiful ones out there. Hope they bring it back again next year. 🚂😀

If there's black smoke from a steam locomotive it means the fire needs either more or less of something

Usually black smoke means the fireman just added coal to the fire. In the case of 425, the engine is big to be fired by hand, and usually the crews are always firing the engine due to the speed and how much steam they use.
