Ah, university...the real life dementor😬 Anyway, the reason you prefer e-books is precisley the reason why I dislike them😅 I noticed that I always check how long is a chapter before reading it and it is easier to have a sense of how much I've read/still have to read with a physical book Ps: I also noticed that I liked some podcasts because the experience of just letting a voice tell me a story reminded me of the audio tapes I use to listen to as a child 🤣

😂 ahhh dementors. But you never lost your passion for reading, not even while in uni, right? Do you remember the Beauty and the beast tape? The bit with the wolves was terrifying!

@@TheStoriesEater Not entirely, but during university I've read considerably less books and stopped cultivating other hobbies. The only things I remember about the tapes are a nice male voice and the fact that there was a bit of a soundtrack here and there, but I don't remember anything about the stories😕

Da giovane ascoltavo solo la radio e trasmettevano anche sceneggiati a puntate, ma ora mi sarebbe difficile ascoltare un audiolibro, non potendo mettere il volume giusto per me, dato che disturberebbe altre persone. Preferisco tenete in mano un libro rilegato in brossura, cioè flessibile, con la possibilità di leggere e rileggere i passaggi più interessanti o quelli letti distrattamente: mi piace gustare un libro con la mente e con le mani. Gli apparecchi per leggere gli ebook sono duri e per me poco maneggevoli. Anch'io mi rilasso e mi addormento facilmente mentre leggo, a meno che non si tratti di un romanzo che mi coinvolga emotivamente nelle vicende dei protagonisti.

Riguardo gli audiolibri (o la radio) forse è giunta l'ora di usare le cuffie 😏 Lo so che non sono il massimo, però almeno il volume sarebbe adeguato! Io uso sempre solo una cuffia alla volta, per restare vigile mentre ascolto. A volte mi capita di voler riascoltare dei passaggi ma non è così immediato come rileggere la riga precedente spostando solo lo sguardo (si può tornare indietro ma non si è altrettanto precisi), questo te lo concedo.
