Maybe no one gonna read this, but I wanna share it. Last year about 2 weeks before my birthday, I was strugling with depression. I felt that even God had turning away from me, I thought that He must be don't want to hear me anymore. So I asked Him, "Oh Lord, I know You're tired of me. But if You still listen, for this year, could I ask for raining as my birthday gift? The hardest one". I just said it randomly and as a joke. I thought that would be impossible cause the weather then was really shiny and hot. But guess what? On my birthday it was raining almost all day, the first rain since almost 2 month without any rain. And my stupid ass just stood there on the buss station (stuck there because I didn't bring any umbrella or mantel) trying hard to hold my big stupid smile and tears. Well okay Lord, thanks to remain me that You always listen, and thanks for the gift.

The funniest story I like from the Bible is about Jesus rising on the third day, which not many seem to know of. Two people who saw and heard everything Jesus did were walking and talking about how He must not have been the true Messiah because He died. When Jesus resurrected that day He followed behind them, listening to their inquiries. Then He finally came up and walked with them and said who is this you speak of? They said “you never heard of Jesus Christ of Nazareth?” And He just walked and listened to them ramble on about everything. After a while He eventually told them that He was Him. But they didn’t even notice. They were so happy though, and asked Him if He could stay a little longer because they did miss Him. So He stayed for a while and broke bread with them. In the breaking of bread, they knew it was really Jesus who had came to them. 💗

My understanding of this verse has always been that Jesus was born into one form and through resurrection became "all forms" in the mimicry of "all made in God's image," meaning man and women have the kernel of the Holy Spirit within and that it is not easy to see that any one person is Jesus, but that it coincides with the verse admonishing others to be kind to strangers because any one of them could be an angel. I do not mind if people could recognize Jesus' face but that it makes sense this way. Jesus set an example of how to act and did not seek to be one thing or another; so that all could understand his commands and replicate them. It is nothing for God to be God, it is more difficult for man to grow into the image of God and so that was Jesus' purpose for being born at all. It is nothing for God to say "and now everyone is perfect" but it would absolve us of the "choice". It is more difficult for God to teach us without erasing the choice and so I believe the teaching is subtle. That is why the sign of breaking bread was the tell, rather than the face. It was a metaphorical action; allusion. That is why Jesus also says "many will say I have come back when I have not and not to follow someone calling you outside to see Jesus". Jesus is another kernel living within. To acknowledge the outer form, shallows the meanings. Thomas also could not believe he saw Jesus; to the point that he had to have the holes in his hand appear as a gentle, friendly showing to Thomas. The holes were not important. That is why Jesus says "blessed are they who have not seen and still believe". It is important to pay attention without such drastic miracles. I think the magistry is all very subtle. Even in the shape of atoms, the math of galaxies, God reveals the wit of design. This message was not meant to dissuade your point of view, but add to it. God is playful. God wants to be friends with us, but a friend isn't a friend because they are powerful or mystic, they are friends because they are friendly. No metaphors or holes in the hand needed; otherwise it robs you of the choice to be friends to all as Jesus was.

Proverbs 6:16-19 "Here are six things God Hates, and one more that He loathes (loathe means He is disgusted with that behavior) with a passion: EYES that are ARROGANT (HAUGHTY), a tongue that Lies, hands that kill the innocent, a heart that plots evil, feet that run swiftly to do evil, a false witness who speaks lies, and a person who spreads rumors. Haughty eyes is Prideful and Arrogant and God Hates that behavior because that is who satan is and Pride and Arrogance was what got satan kicked out of Heaven. Jesus is without Sin and He would NEVER have given someone the side eye. Let's Not come up with our own ideas of what Jesus is like and what God is like. That is Dangerous and it only Waters down The Gospel as The Gospel is The True Written Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16 "All Scripture is God breathed) and Tells us Exactly Who God and Jesus are. And No, I'm not saying anyone is perfect, BUT the More and More Time you Spend with The Lord (which is Having a Relationship with Him).. ALL of those sinful thoughts and actions (things that we might think is so small such as giving someone the side eye) and Corrupt speech/Foul language Will Become Less and Less. God wants a relationship with us through Christ Jesus. God KNOWS our hearts but can you say you Truly KNOW HIM? His word even tells us in John 17:3 "And this is The WAY to HAVE Eternal Life, IS TO KNOW YOU, The Only True God and Jesus Christ." This Makes So Much sense WHY Jesus said in Matthew 7:23 "Depart from Me, I NEVER KNEW you." See that? God WANTS us to REALLY KNOW HIM.. THROUGH Jesus. This proves that Jesus spoke Facts when He said in John 4:16 "I AM The WAY, The Truth and The Life. NO ONE goes to The Father EXCEPT THROUGH Me." This Proves that there is NO other way to get to The One True Living God Except through Jesus and ALL others Ways, your own ideas, religions, your own beliefs, practices, teachings and traditions.. ALL Lead to Destruction. Jesus is The Mighty Name Who Saves!! Jesus is The ONLY WAY to COME TO KNOW our Heavenly Father. You can Not Enter Gods Kingdom without Knowing Who God is.. Why would anyone Not want to Spend Time with our Heavenly Father? God visited my home with rain. So i live in Ghana with my husband and a baby. We were cut off water supply for days, and we ran out of all we hoarded as well, so we were literally buying pure water for bathing, which was quite expensive. I woke up one morning, and before i left home, deep down my heart, i felt sad, and i told God, "You need to do a miracle for us, Lord." Miraculously, it rained so heavily that day. When i got back from work, my neighbour had drained a lot of water for us, i continued draining when i got home until i had nothing for extra water. Hallelujah. I testified at church the next day. Some thought it was just a coincidence, but i knew that rain at that odd time was for me and for anyone else who asked God for it. I felt it strongly in my spirit, and i was filled with unexplainable joy... 😊

If you're looking for a sign you are more prone to seeing something that you'll interpret as one.. This is really basic psychology. God doesn't want us to be blind fools void of any semblance of brain function relying on signs stumbling from one to another and never growing in knowledge. Interpreting omens is declared in the old testament to be a sin and is associated with sorcery. Be transformed by the renewing of your mind. He has given you a brand new heart and brand new spirit as well as everything you need for life and godliness. You don't have to rely on silly signs as those who follow the winds of the world, you're better than that.

There's a big difference between the "signs and wonders" the Pharisees were seeking when Jesus said that and what she's talking about. The Pharisees wanted signs and wonders so Jesus would prove who He was. The other situation was her asking for some reassurance and edification as her results could take weeks. I believe God has no problem with that. He's a good father and good fathers encourage their kids.

A few years back, I was having a lot of trouble controlling my temper. Around that same time, I wasn't going to church, wasn't reading my Bible, wasn't really doing any of the things I was supposed to be doing. But I still prayed every night, and asked God to help me with my temper. Night after night, I prayed for this one thing. Finally, one night, as I was mid-prayer, I heard a distinct THUMP somewhere in my room, like something had fallen over. I was too tired to bother looking, so I went to sleep. Next morning I woke up - my Bible had fallen off my shelf. Sat there, untouched, for months, and just fell off while I was praying. I laughed out loud and said, "Okay, okay, I get it," and sat down, started at Genesis, and began reading every single night before bed. Within just a few days, my temper was better than it had been all year. God has an excellent sense of humor - especially when he's just being straight with you.

@@lyyn-bx3kh : God is Omnipresent, Omnipotent and Omniscient. He is Omnipresent, meaning He CAN be Everywhere All at once.. so why are you putting limits on God? Everything Jesus did was to Set an Example of HOW we are to Live our Daily Lives. Jesus Led By Example. So that's why He prayed to God The Father even though He and God are One but He did it to SHOW us HOW we are to Pray to God out of Great Reverence for our Heavenly Father. Remember, it's God First, THEN The Son, THEN The Holy Spirit (Gods Spirit). Only God is God The Father.. we don't say Father Jesus or Father Holy Spirit.. No, we Only Say Father God because He IS The Father of All. God is God Almighty.. He is Too Holy and that's why He had to come down in The Flesh (Jesus) because we can Not See God in these earthly bodies. Even in Exodus 33:18-23 "Moses asked God to show His Glorious Presence and God said "I will pass by but you can NOT look Directly at My face so I will put My hand out to cover you. And once I have passed, I will remove My hand so you will Only see My back, because No one can See My Face and Live." See that!! NO one can See Gods face and Live. We would D*E if we were to See Him in ALL of His Glory. Only His children will See Him in Heaven once they Receive their Glorified bodies. So that is How God was able to Sit on His Throne and Come down in the Flesh (Jesus) and then Ascend back up into Heaven, leaving All of His children with The Holy Spirit, which is God's Spirit. God's Spirit is IN ALL of His children.. Not everyone is a child of God "John 8:44 "For you are the children of your father the devil, and you love to do the evil things he does." Matthew 25:32-33 & 41 "He will separate the people the same way a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will place the sheep on His right and the goats on the left. Then the King will turn to those on the left and say, 'Away with you, you cursed ones, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his demons." If you don't have a Relationship with God through Christ Jesus, Right Now is The Time to Start. Spend Time with Him, talk to Him the way you spend time talking to your friends and family. Sometimes He just wants us to be Still and Listen for His voice as it says in Psalm 46:10 "Be Still and KNOW that I Am God." Read His Word Daily and Meditate on His Word along with Praying and Fasting.. This is Pleasing to Him. It brings us Close to Him.. this is HOW we COME TO KNOW HIM. God KNOWS our hearts.. but can you say you KNOW HIM? John 17:3 "The WAY (He IS The Way) to Eternal Life IS TO KNOW YOU, The Only True God and Jesus Christ." It Makes So Much Sense Why Jesus said in Matthew 7:23 "Depart from Me, I NEVER KNEW you." This Proves that Jesus spoke Facts when He said in John 14:6 "I AM The WAY, The Truth and The Life. NO one goes to The Father EXCEPT through Me." This proves Jesus IS IN FACT The ONLY WAY to get to The One True Living God and ALL other ways.. your own way, your own ideas, and your own beliefs and teachings, religions, practices, and traditions.. ALL Lead to Destruction. Jesus IS The ONLY WAY.. if you don't have a Relationship with God through His Son Jesus.. Right Now is The Time to Start. There's a young lady who had a dream and God told her that Jesus is Not coming soon.. He is Right around the corner! Make sure you are in Right Standing with our Heavenly Father. Whatever sins you are Holding onto.. Let it go! And no one is saying we are to be perfect, but The More and More Time you Spend with our Heavenly Father, All of those sinful thoughts, actions and foul language/perverse speech will become Less and Less. Call on The Mighty Name Who Saves! Call on Jesus.. He IS The Name Above All names!! Stop gambling with your life folks. Keep in mind that How we Live our lives here on earth, WILL Echo for All of Eternity. Choose Life. Choose Jesus.

And when Peter walked on the water, and he was doing fine until he stopped looking at Jesus. (Isn't that usually the case?) As a pastor of mine said, Jesus was very patient - although He kinda scolded him about his lack of faith - and didn't light into Peter and then dunk his head under water (blublublub) to teach him a lesson. I think that's why we laugh sometimes - we can so relate, especially to our fellow believers, New *and* Old Testament!

I found myself laughing when Jesus kept telling the disciples that Lazarus is “sleep”. They just weren’t getting it and finally Jesus said, “Lazarus is DEAD…” 😂

​@@mssmmillJesus was using a euphemism, stating that His friend Lazarus was "asleep" to politely convey to His followers that Lazarus was in fact dead. For whatever reason I cannot recall, the followers thought Lazarus was literally sleeping, and didn't know why Jesus needed to travel so far just to go wake up a sleeping dude. Jesus then dispenses with the euphemism and states Lazarus is dead. The funny part is Jesus was trying to be polite and respectful, but then decides to ditch the politically correct version of events for the blunt one, lol. 😅

@@toniduval4350I also think He could have been very literal in saying that Lazarus was asleep, because He was conveying that when someone dies-their spirit sleeps. Jesus used a lot of “heavenly language” when He spoke like telling the disciples that He had food that they don’t know about, and while He was talking about feeding His spirit, they literally thought that someone gave Him food and asked Him about it. But even though He was being quite literal about Lazarus’ spirit being asleep, it’s still quite funny to see that dynamic between our understanding of things and how Jesus reacted to our ‘dense’ way of thinking😂

He's very funny to this day. When i got saved in 2018, i only had a king james bible and it was hard to understand the wordings and I jokingly said, " Lord, i probably need a bible for dummies so i can understand ". Literally the next sunday he led me to a church, and they were giving out free bibles in a translation God knew I'd understand. I literally screamed laughing when i realized he answered my prayers and gave me a bible even a toddler could understand 😂😂😂 it’s the same bible I use to this day🙏❤️

I had this happen to me too, I had a KJV and had been trying to read it for weeks and I kept praying about it and I went to a youth group at my school and the teacher running it (bless his heart) started laughing when he saw I had a KJV and he gave me a free ESV and eventually about 2 or so weeks later he bought me my ESV study that I use now 🙌🏼✝️
