you have no idea how much these two videos have helped me. i’m a rising senior who plans on applying to upenn in the fall, and not only are our names similar (haha, just wanted to include that bit), but so are our stats. you’ve helped me see this school at a reachable status and i would like to thank you for your advice

You have no idea how happy this comment makes me!!! I'm soooo glad I could help! It definitely was hard for me during the application process because I had only seen videos of students with crazy high stats and none with scores like mine, so I'm so happy my videos helped :)

Your essays are soooo cute :) I have a question, when explaining your reasons for doing psychology in your Penn supplement, did you use a personal anecdote? I'm trying to think of ways to show that I want to do the major I picked. Thank you!
@LahNasia4 жыл бұрын
Thank you!! Yea, I used a brief anecdote (it was about two or three sentences) but there are many ways to explain why you're interested in your major. You can honestly just flat out say why you chose that major (if you choose to do this maybe try to use a metaphor or relate it to something). Or maybe you can talk about your life long goal and how that specific major will help you achieve that goal. Hope this helps!

I know this is completed unrelated to this video but it has to do with financial aid and how you can afford to go there. Can you help with that?
@LahNasia4 жыл бұрын
Hi!! So Penn does need-based aid (as opposed to merit based), so I have scholarships and grants. Basically, they look at what you and your family can cover and try to pay what you can't (i'm pretty sure anyway. I'm honestly not the most educated when it comes to financial aid). If you're interested in getting an estimate of how much aid you can receive here's a link to Penn's financial aid calculator: srfs.upenn.edu/costs-budgeting/estimate-your-costs This is just an estimate so you deff can get more aid than what the calculator says. If you have any specific questions, my email is lahnasiaxo@gmail.com :))

I have a question did you do an interview with penn and if so could you give me some tips in a video or comment please. And these essays that you did are so amazing and wonderful!🥺 I hope to be at penn one day but until then I will work hard to be there🥰
@LahNasia4 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much!! At the end of my stats video I talk about my interview and give a few tips: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aWnOY6iNa96rf80 My biggest piece of advice would be to google interview questions and practice answering them so that you know what to say if those questions are asked. Here's a link to one of the websites I used when preparing for the interview: www.alumni.upenn.edu/s/1587/gid2/16/interior_1col.aspx?sid=1587&gid=2&calcid=15176&calpgid=6487&pgid=252&ecid=15332&crid=0 I also looked at general interview questions, not just Penn specific questions. Here's a link to the Penn page about interviews in general, which is pretty informative: admissions.upenn.edu/admissions-and-financial-aid/what-penn-looks-for/interviews Hope this helps!

I didn't apply to any other ivies since I applied early decision to Penn, but some other schools I got into were Temple, Penn State, UConn, Drexel, Rutgers, Fordham, Jefferson, and a few others
