I don't know if you need this comment from me (or anyone) but I just wanted to say I absolutely love and support you switching up the prompts if they weren't going to work. I would much rather watch you "cheat" and possibly love something rather than force yourself to read what you're "supposed to" read and end up having a terrible time. I loved this a lot. Also I don't even like romantasy why am I checking my library for Quicksilver...

I like that you went for it with the length of this video. I always like your Goodreads videos but they can feel choppier than your other videos because of how many books there are, but this longer length really allowed you to give fleshed out reviews and a good amount of time to each book even if you didn't have a lot to say about them + some vlogging clips which makes the video more dynamic. I hope you do something similar when you read everyone's favs in January.

The library hold concept could make a really fun video! Like request a bunch of books you want to read and then read the first four or w/e that show up. I'm glad you chose joy in historical fiction and had a win. Aww, I thought you would love the Bog Wife, I was so here for the vibes. I'm curious to try Sky Full of Elephants now! I think doing the debut category next year could be fun, so you get a variety of things.

I'm not a romance reader. In order for me to even consider picking up a romance book means something. You talked about A LOVE SONG FOR RICKI WILDE, and even though it may not have been one of your all-time favorite, listening to you tslk about it made me want to read the book ... it just grabbed my soul. Then you reminded me about audio books on Spotify. I completely forgot that option was available. I downloaded it and am currently listening. I'm 5 chapters in, and I don't know where the time went ... I wrote all of this to say thank you. You pushed me out of my comfort zone into something that I wouldn't normally try. Take care!

Loved the whole thing, added several to my TBR! Loved that you still did an overview for each category, really fun ways to select the books. Loved the 1 and 5 star option and that some of the 5 star actually turned you off. The library hold might be fun to try some time in the future for a vlog, maybe select 10 from the subscribers jar and you read the first 3 that come in?

I think it would be fun to see a goodreads video (for next year) like this: you pick 3 of a genre that you typically love like mystery or horror and then you have to pick 3 from a category you typically don't read/like such as romantasy or romance. And then compare the results of how you feel about them in a video
@JennikreadsАй бұрын
I think a lot of Americans have a connection with Sharon because she breaks things down very mater of factly and explains government in a way that every day people can understand. I haven't read her book, but I can understand why it's rated high only because most of the people reading this probably already have an opinion and connection to the author.
