I really enjoy your vlogs, they always get me inspired to read some more. ^_^ The Fifth Season is on my current tbr right now. Along with a million other books...Crazy Rich Asians , Vampire of the Mists, Royal Assassin, The Jackal of Nar, The Silver Mask, Rebel, Artemis, Three Dark Crowns, Half a King, The Star-touched Queen, The Redemption of Athalus, The Red Scrolls of Magic, World War Z, In an Absent Dream, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep, Ash Princess, Dracula, Inda, The Lies of Locke Lamora, Traitor's Blade. Theft of Swords I really recommend Ghost Hunt as an anime for you to watch, I think you'll really get into it.

If you love political fantasy, you should pick up The Empire Trilogy by Raymond E. Feist and Janny Wurts. That's basically one big, political, strategy game. This goes for battleground strategy as well as a whole lot of people who try to best one another and eradicate one another in the 'Game of the Council'. The characters are great and I have never seen such a complex political system in fantasy ever before.

A book I finished recently that I think you would love is The Philosopher's Flight by Tom Miller. It is a little bit magic, a little bit science, and a little bit alternate history. But I was absolutely hooked on the story, and the characters were so cool. Also, the sequel--The Philosopher's War--will be out in July, so I feel like it would be a great time to start this series.

@@froncifresh I've read His Dark Materials a few times since childhood. They are great. I need to reread them again. I'd recommend Foundryside by Robert Jackson Bennett, or my main go-to recommendation is Colorworld by Rachel E. Kelly.
