Hi Jack! It's a bit past the date now, but happy birthday!!! 🎉 I totally understand reading struggles, this past January I did nothing but rewatch comfort series, very little reading got done. It's all fine, it's good to have a recharge period. I'm sorry the book was such a disappointment this time, but happy that it's now off your tbr and going straight to the unhaul pile. 😅Hopefully the next pick will be better!

Happy Birthday again!🎉 If you go back to my comment, you can see that my heart wanted to vote for The God of Small Things. But I decided against it, because it is beautiful, but a tough read. So that's what we get when I vote against myself. 🙄 There's also nothing wrong about dnf'ing. Just saying. 😉
