It's a shame you didn't like Strange the Dreamer. It was one of the first books with flowery writing that I remember actually loving. Of to see which book you choose for them to read... 👀

I don't think it was just the writting in these case. I did not connect with the characters at all, I think for me that was the biggest problem...

​@@beatrizbooknook I understand. I remember it had very slow build and insta love, and it read very YA which none of those things are my buzzwords but for some reason I loved it. Granted it was a few years ago so I'm not sure how I'd feel about it now.
