Bryan,it’s just like we came along with you as our personal guard while you fish that beautiful run! Excellent tutorial loaded with information and hands on flyfishing as you methodically dissect that run and actually hook and land nice brownies as you explain the ‘how’s and why’s’ . No better way to teach a flyfisher how to approach and fish a run. Excellent job Bryan! Looking forward to more like this. Thank you and I’m glad to see you back doing what you love doing.

Thanks, Jim! I feel like the next phase in my videos and education through my videos is bringing people along with me so they can see the water I'm on and start learning how to break things down based on conditions, flows, etc. My next video is part 2 from this day and is already edited. I'll have it uploaded early next week for Pack members and out to the public the following Sunday.

Bryan, What wt rod were you using (3 wt?). Also originally when you were showing your drone footage of the river. I was questioning what side of the river you were fishing, but then I realize once I saw the stream flow you were on the left side of the river as you’re looking at your drone footage.

Hey Joe... I was using the Diamondback Ideal Nymph 10'10" 2 weight.

That water for me,fishes better with a Dorsey yarn indicator
@WhiteDogTrailCompany2 ай бұрын
Yes... the slower water would fish well with an indicator. I didn't have any with me that day so I floated the sighter in those sections. But once I get to the faster water, I want to euro and not have an indicator dragging my flies.

Bryan you mentioned a different stonefly you used, not your sexi stone. Please share your fly pattern video with me. Thanks.

Yeah... the Sexi Stone Bomb. I tis the Sexi Stone tied in a heavier version. That video is here. kzbin.info/www/bejne/f5bTnI2vord1mrc

I keep trying Euro style but I definitely have issues. I was just in Oregon fish a million Mike zero. I gave up after a day and did normal nymphing, much better. However I'm not going to give. Great video

I find euro nymphing to be incredibly effective! Hope you start finding success with it!
