I read Weyward at the beginning of the year and it took my breath away. I don't know why its living rent free in my head. It was my first "feminist" and "powerful woman" concept and for me was jaw dropping. I hope to be able to buy in physical form this year (I read digitally), because I love the cover and want to re read it for sure

yesss, if you’re into nature and magic and feminism, i‘m sure you‘ll eat this up! 🤍 i think it takes a little bit to get used to the writing style at first but once you’re past that point, it’s absolutely breathtaking!! ✨

Great to see you back! Just a tiny bit jealous that you got to see the Eras tour!! I prefer being seated too and don’t love loud things or lots of people so I totally get how overwhelming that is. I had the exact same thoughts as you about Weyward and am so glad you loved it too!! 😍

You did so well listening to your limits! I too have been getting into spooky reads. I read what I'm in the mood for so if it's a summery read, I'll read that. If it's a fantasy in the summer, I'll do that too. There is nothing wrong with the order of things.

thank you and i totally agree! it’s so great that you just read what you feel like reading!! i really struggle with always trying to do things “the right way” and after years of being in the book community, it felt like reading books that fit the season had become this rule in my head. but it’s been so freeing to let all of this go and just read whatever! 😌 what spooky books have you been reading? 🥰

@@onlywildthoughts Right now I am reading The Clackity by Lora Senf. Lots of middle grade spooky books. I'm laurakellylitfit on Goodreads. The girl in white by Lindsay Currie -was good. The weather doesn't make the mood, it's the feeling. My mind is in the fall and there are a lot of books that others have read that I've wanted to read. Sometimes Libby would have weeks wait so I put holds on those books weeks ago to get a head start. Also, summer ends near the end of September, we got time :D. Autumn ends in December. It's all about perspective.
