👋Hey friends! Do you agree with Tolstoy? Is it enough to read all day or do we need to set the books down at times and live life?

Thanks for posting about Anna. I've missed the Tuesday book club chats. I agree. Simply reading is not enough. It's important to sit with ideas and characters and really let them affect you. Not all books have to do that, but the really good ones can facilitate change. But you have to pause and let it sink in. I loved the whole scene with Levin and Kitty. She stood her ground, took control through her BEAUTIFULLY intrinsic love and compassion. We could all learn from Kitty ❤

I know! I’m excited to get the book club back together after the Christmas break. Great comment. Happy reading.

Totally agree with you. I don't like to waste my time or money on something I can't to/ally get into. I'm a slow reader anyways so I want something that teaches as well as entertains. So if I read 5 good books a year I'm good with that.

I agree with Tolstoy, need to live life! I’ve lived a life so far very passionately with no regrets…so not being a life time reader and starting now, I have a history to look back on and I can learn from books as to where I should have used a little more tact!😂 As a newbie to the group, I don’t have a number of books to read for my goals, I’m focused on my focus! I feel I need to master that before trying to read numerous books a year!

Fantastic! I love the phrase, I’m focused on my focus. I may need to steal that.
