im so happy you loved Raybearer!! the friendship and how subtle the romance was but how realistic it felt was so impressive to me. also if you are ordering from the UK, i'd recommend Blackwell's since they have UK editions and offer free shipping to the US! book depository is owned by Amazon, but Blackwell's is an independent book company.

Since you liked Project Hail Mary please read Artemis! I don’t know why it gets a bad wrap it’s one of my favorite books of all time. The audiobook is great too!

Have you read Kristen Ashleys’s ‘Chaos’ novels? One of my all time books is from that series and it’s called ‘Walk Through Fire’. I loved it so much that I have to reread it every year🥰

Loved the Raybearer duology. Not so much the audio because they changed narrators for the second one and it the narrator did not match the theme of the story

I don’t think they changed narrators for the audiobooks? At least not the edition I listened too. Both are voiced by Joneice Abbott-Pratt according to the listing on Libro.fm. But also the thing I love most about the duology is the narrator for the audiobooks because I felt she really captures the themes and characters 😂. It’s amazing how different reading experiences can be lol
