After many years of spiritual studies I have come to the conclusion that why transcend…it’s like wanting to be somewhere else when we are here, yes we are consciousness, but we are having a human experience so why not just be here and enjoy the experience..we will transcend when we leave this human body but while in the body enjoy this experience be in it…😮😅😊

Becca is simply the coolest! And, yes to everything that was said here. Been rereading A Course in Miracles now to remind myself how to remain in the Conscious state and be at peace.😇

Becca, everything that you said sits really well with many Spiritual Teachings. Personally, I made things manifest just by visualizing them and feeling the Joy and Happiness as if it was my reality already. Thank you for this thought provoking video❤

Yes, the joy of it all. When we are experiencing the joy of the manifestation as if it's here, the self love to accept it, the courage to be willing to believe it. Ooooo, great things can happen!

This reminds me of something Joseph Campbell said (but I'm pretty sure he was quoting someone else.) "The ultimate mystery of being is beyond all categories of thought.... The best things can't be told because they transcend thought. The second best are misunderstood, because those are the thoughts that are supposed to refer to that which can't be thought about. The third best are what we talk about." That's why he believes in poetry and art and those things that can help us transcend the thinking mind, and have the ability, on the listener or viewer, to experience the truth. Maybe meditation falls into this category too.

Loved the Jane Roberts books I read back in the 70s. The Seth Material. I'd have to put the book down after every chapter and simply absorb it all.

Love this chat!! Yes yes! Difficult to get this from head to heart though. Yup. Carl jung- collective consciousness, 100th monkey theory. If we all join together, we can shape a new reality. Isn't that the reason for faith communities, meditation groups, etc.??❤❤❤

Funny, while walking today and just stopping to take a broad look at my surroundings, I thought, "so this is not really real, but then why do we all see the same things? Everybody thinks there's a Chipotle over there, so there must really be a Chipotle over there" ... lol and that is how that circuitous conversation goes around in my head. But I think I am not as concerned with what it is, so much as WHY it is. Anyway, thanks for pondering these out of the box ideas with us.

I do think there is power in shared beliefs. We all believe there is a Chipotle. Maybe this is why it is important to be with like minded individuals and avoid spending too much time talking to people who see a version of reality we find heavy...it spreads.

Thanks Becca. Great stuff. Now you’re speaking my language. Pardon me tooting my horn, but this is a lot of what my two books are about. I believe I mailed you “Life is Magic” since you’re mentioned in it, in case you’d like another set of thoughts on it. The reason I say life is magic is because the chicken / egg paradox can’t be solved. If there’s a creator who always was / is / will be then that’s a paradox. If there’s no creator and life sprang on its own that too is a paradox. A paradox itself is that which is impossible but somehow also true. Life is impossible, yet it is so. We are here to say so. Life is Magic. 😊

Wow! The answer to my question about simulation at the top of my KZbin feed. I love it when that happens. Thanks so much for laying out the response in a calm, clear manner. I need to sit with the concept of simulation more, but so many of my perceptions and experiences are changing... and I am hopeful for a new day of love-based and higher consciousness-based living. Thanks so much, Becca.

Becca, with respect, Donald Hoffman has a reputation among many academic scientists of being wacky in his positions. Philosophical idealism, which is what he represents, is thousands of years old and goes back to Plato and beyond. It's basically the idea that there is only mind or consciousness (that's why it's called "idealism" from "Idea"). The first two of the pillars of Hoffman's grand construction, evolutionary fitness, and perceptions by conscious minds of external reality only in terms of the organism's own needs, belong to the scientific mainstream. There's nothing original there. To give examples, bats navigate by ultrasonic waves through echo location, beyond the range of human hearing. Humming birds and bees perceive ultraviolet and flowers look different to them than to human eyes. But perception and agency (i.e. acting on the external world) are essential aspects of all life. Even bacteria move away from poisonous chemicals and towards food. Plants sense humidity and send roots towards moisture. Communication of some kind exists even in simple bacteria. Complex nervous systems came with hundreds of millions of years of evolution, and the human neocortex which permits speech and thinking are very recent. Existence precedes consciousness. As Einstein commented sarcastically, the moon doesn't go out of existence when we don't look at it. That's true no matter what human minds make of it - a goddess, a lump of rock, a relic which was torn up when another earth-sized planet crashed into it early in the earth's history and captured by the earth's gravitation. As far as we know, there is no consciousness without nervous systems, there are no nervous systems without cells, no cells without molecules made up of protons, neutrons, electrons. At bottom there are only quantum wave fluctuations and gradients as entropy tends to a maximum in the universe, even if in a local bubble, free energy can be captured from outside the bubble through nano-motors and ratchets to main structure and complexity for a while.
