I was pulling big bass literally every other cast the other day on a lipless. Was just messing around with a cheaaap rod seeing what they were in the mood for, not so much as a nibble on anything but a frog. Tossed on a lipless, Second cast in hooked a 10lb largemouth & snapped the rod 😂 Changed rods & consistently pulled in good size largemouth until the sun went down. Gotta have a lipless.

Pink caffeine shad with a screw lock and nose hook it with a drop shot hook “banjo minnow” style. Thank me later. Caught 14 bass in 2 hours on the Guadalupe River with it. If you need to fish deeper with it pop a nail weight in the belly.

@@txbassin take a screw lock and screw it straight into the nose of a soft shad style bait until the loop is embedded in the nose. Tie a drop shot hook onto the end of your line. Hook the shad in the tip of the nose through the screw lock loop. Retrieve like a jerk bait.
