@@1GUNDAM I have read somewhere that team 17 took the decision. They had a discussion about a map in a school scenario, this started a political correctness / new word for censorship debate. Then team17 was shitting their pants and left. Or void took the decision to not follow political correctness bullshit and still has been focusing just to release a good game and honor real SWAT officers. The reaction from void was best. Triple AAA studios don't know and forgot how to build up good games in today's time. So the real deal is, to focus on the triple bbb studios and small dev groups and every indie title. We are in a timeline of flops... Ready or not, is good and will be better!

Honestly, I was pretty sceptical after the multiplayer PvP playtest last year - I am glad you were able to pull a 180! This game shapes up to become the SWAT 4 sequel we desperately needed for so long, if not even more than that. Proud to have bought the supporter edition almost three years ago - I am hyped for what the future holds for this game. Keep up the great work!

@@justcows7772 As a game designer I understand what was the point with rainbow. It was supposed to be an arcade tactical swat team, where u never actually expect nothing every single time you get in the place, like, we are talking about attacks in 3 minutes, 5v5 all or nothing. But all the sense the game had to be an inmersive tactical game, went out as soon as they find out competitive side. And you cant leave in a competitive game a lot of things cause they are bad in the long game term, like getting hurt by barbed wire or too much screen shake every time a 'nade goes off. The issue, was how flashy gameplay is. Playing other games like this, or Insurgency Sandstorm feels more fitting in my opinion because if you leave randoms do their thing without consecuences, we could get rainbow. If you call out your players are going to have a rough time playing like they desire, we can actually agree we can get a better product because the game will keep pushing you to play their way. Dark Souls is not famous about letting people go free ASAP, you need to earn that knowledge

This is the saviour of my faith into gaming. Pretty much all major games have effectively just disappointed the expectations that had been set. This game on the other hand… if anything, the expectations were a bit lowered after that initial PvP playtest, and these amazing people at VOID Interactive managed to make this game what people have been waiting for for years

Honestly, I wasn’t really paying attention to the hype around this game for the last month but now that I’ve looked into it more this looks like it could be not only a great co-op shooter but a single player one too. I'm afraid it won't be Siege killer, since it will be PvE focused, with tacked on PvP element most likely. Game like Siege with this atmosphere and realism would be like a godsend, and I think even many Siege fans agree. AAA shooters are now filled with "funny" costumes and ridiculous weapon skins, I hate that crap from the bottom of my heart

They don't. Fixed in this update. Their morale is 50% lower (easier to give up) and they don't run outdoors anymore. Also they get demoralized with meleeing easier than before

This game will be even more spectacular, if the devs can implement raytracing in it. With these environments and gameplay, it will certainly be an even better experience with lighting effects, reflection and shadows by raytracing. I hope that one day RT efefects come to this game.
