I've been playing Ready or Not since it was early access, two friends and I found it to be just what we wanted, but a few others saw it as too inaccessible and rather punishing (granted, they are a lot more accostumed to other styles of games). Maybe they would be willing to play Zero Hour where they found Ready or Not a bit too much, thanks for the reccomendation.

umm.. yes Rainbow six siege was a HUGE winner right there but when it premieres on steam 2015 Dec 25 if I remember correctly.. until they patch a very long way to that PATCH (Healthcare)..then everything just gets worse and focus on a lot of balance guys.. I can understand there are idiot people who couldn't cope with how to counter resistance instead of toxicity.. when I found out Ready or not is coming out on steam then I was happier and played it straight away without using "imagination" ' gadget and other than the focus on realistic military/special police technology, position etc that I had always love to play it after the game at Swat Las Vegas.

Played zero hour way before RoN but I prefer RoN over Zero hour for graphics and world. One thing that zero hour has that ready or not doesn’t is killing the power to buildings. A million points towards zero hour for that.

yeah but I genuinely don’t know if cutting off power is a thing in police raids. It’s cool but I feel might be too tacticool for a “swat sim”

Nice video! Both great games. I recommend playing zero hour first since its cheaper and if you enjoy it, once you beat it go and play Read or Not

I have played zero hour for 12 hours now in past 2 weeks, I am in love with it. I only play co-op with AI team mates. I am pretty sure RoN is definitely better, but Zero Hour is amazing in it's own sense. I will buy Ready or Not once it hits sale. Also after 15 august zero hour is getting out of early access and it's price will be increased, so if you were looking to buy it, now is the best time

The "Ready or Not" has a much better AI for suspects, and because of this, it is mandatory for winning this comparison.

I love both but heres my take: Zero Hour: -Affordable price -Multiple game modes. -PVP & PVE / co-op -Unique setting (Bangladesh / South Asia location) -Somewhat similar to OG Rainbow Six with a hint of Siege mixed in. -Ok graphics -AI teammates in single player needs more work (slightly below Raven Shield's team AI) -Losing a K9 partner may cause a need to go John Wick on enemies resulting in a low mission score. Ready Or Not: -Very similar to SWAT 4. -Immersive environments and graphics. Sound design too real at times. -Decent team AI in single player (they work for the most part). -Just higher quality overall. -Mod support -Dark and relevant themes and scenarios. Not just the missions but the world building at large. -Expensive -PVE only (not really a con but each their own) -Performance issues even with high-end rigs. -Cheating AI suspects (they have improved them over time but you may still see them pull off unrealistic moves or inconsistant behaviors) -Stubborn civilians may cause disproportionate aggression towards them resulting in a low score. Anyway, give both a go. They are great in their own ways.

Just want to update, a recent police officer AMA with Void on the Ready Or Not channel revealed that PVP is going to return in the future. Additionaly, a mod was made to allow an unofficial PVP mode with decent success.

I bought the Supporter Edition for RoN and I can say I was impressed because it is so close to the SWAT game experience and also disappointed because there's so much cut content that doesn't make it on 1.0. (custom patch, ability to cut power, drone, ladder, removed maps like pre-alpha hotel and fast food).

Considering the price of Zero Hour & their small development team from a country that most of us have never heard of before I see it as a W. I bought it yesterday & was genuinely surprised. Played some PVP which was scary as hell without the lights. Hope they keep updating the game.

@@yasin01010-u Yea that still doesnt make the game any better just cuz they have a "smaller" team then we should excuse them. I mean, yes i get it, they are a small team and for a small team they are doing a good job, but RON is better in almost every regard. I have both and I havent touched zero hour for a few years since i got my hands on RON.

i would give READY OR NOT 8 .5 out of 10 and ZERO HOUR 7 OUT OF 10 .but still i have high hopes for zero hour .

You cannot even play zero hour without internet connection and the game feels kinda clanky. While I can play ready or not also without internet connection and the graphics gunsounds just everything is better. I prefer to pay more and get a better game so i did with ron. But for the prize, zero hour is rlly good but without internet connection i cant even play the gale also if i just want to play solo is very disappointing. Well nvm im glad it was like that, thats why i bought ron and i was worth to pay more i refunded zero hour after i play like an hour or smth in ready or not the first mission on the gas station, ron is so crazy immersive.

The thing that both of these games suffer from is the unrealistic sizes of every environment. Staircases are not that big, and bedrooms sure ain’t the size of a mobile home lmao. I wish they would tighten up the map layouts so it would feel more realistic and harder to clear each map.

In Zero Hour, all maps are made with real world scale.

Yeah scale isn't the problem its the size of the maps, they can be way to big. Ready or Not has the same problem, people want smaller CQB style maps, think clean house from call of duty
