Another great video Bryan. Thanks for taking us along for the ride. Couple of things you might want to think about doing. Make a goose neck hitch for the 3 point hitch on your tractor to pull the hay trailer when feeding your cows . I know you can do it as you are pretty handy in the shop . Another is get a bobsled and a good team of horses and you could maybe feed them yourself?

Beautiful. Love how the dogs work the trailer. Great to see little ones along side.

Maybe I missed something earlier this year. Are you short on feed because of low field production or herd size?
@LuthiRanchWY5 сағат бұрын
We didn’t have the best 2nd crop but we picked up some rented ground. We sell about 40% of the hay we put up as horse hay so it’s a bit of a juggling act keeping enough hay for the horse hay customers and having enough for the cows. Both my Dad and I increased our individual herd sizes also so that stretched our hay too.

I see you calve in the winter, do you have many problems with calves getting pneumonia, or death loss from freezing when first born? How do the calves do later in spring then during mud season We calve in a barn in February up in northern Wisconsin, always been to afraid to try outside that time of year as winter is similar to yours but less snow. Merry Christmas
