Hi guy's 👋well i think its great when you have that much room in the living room towards the kitchen since the kitchen is a little small, all you need to do is buy one of those islands and put it right there in kitchen and that will give you more counter space and it would look really good with the island. Actually that downstairs bathroom is regular size. Good bathroom , I really like this home. Very nice! Thank you guys! Good video 👍😀 i miss your videos Nick hope you will be doing more ? 😊

This is an immaculately kept house with very good finishes, good spaces, and terrific grounds to grow quite a lot produce in addition to its variety of established fruiting trees and vines. Absolutely move-in ready for the new owners to begin enjoying immediately. I love it. And its village and proximity to Castanheira de Pera and full amenities.

Hello Nick and Fernando, that’s a good sized house with a decent amount of garden for a very reasonable price I just wish I was fitter than I am as that’s my smallest house I’d like and it still needs that bit of work to bring it up to date I think I’d swap the downstairs around if possible making that big room into a dining/sitting room including the kitchen and make the kitchen dining area into the lounge it already has the fireplace in it them two small rooms of what will be the kitchen make one a pantry and the other a collect all room with a doorway into the garage. Keep them coming please Nick as I was just about to reach out to you to check all was ok with you my friend.😊😊😊😊

@@destino2portugal I’m pleased all is well with you, we all have our bumpy periods but some bumps are higher than others but it’s the deep bumps we need to watch out for as some are far too deep and they are the ones that can be really bad I once was moments from doing something that would have hurt a lot of people and in a split second I would have been well toasty i wasn’t in a good place and id just got 20 litres of petrol for the lawn mower and hedge trimmer and id filled the car up and I was driving home then next thing I remember I was doing 100+ mph on the motorway heading toward a bridge parapet I was 50 miles from home. I still don’t know how I’d got there but I snapped out of it went home hugged the wife and son. I went to work and someone found me in a pile in the corner of a corridor scratching holes in my arm then HR took me home it took a few months before I could go back to work that was nearly 20 years ago and I still have scars on my arm and live for today and I don’t drive anymore. Very reasonably priced. Where can you get a 5-bed, 2 bathroom house with a decent sized (but manageable) garden for less than €150,000? I'd have expected a far higher asking price of closer to €200,000 despite it not having central heating and being in a rural area far from large towns and airports.

The only thing that I don't like about these Portuguese houses is that they are always on the street, the front part of the house. In this house there is not much land, so I understand, but other houses with plenty of land are still placed right on the edge of the land? Why? I prefer privacy!

Demolishing the oven in the kitchen, cleaning up the scary basement, making the house and shower livable, the struggles with the piece of land that is not yours, the sudden death of your brother-in-law and much more.I understand that you need an income in Portugal but I am not looking for a house in Portugal and after 10 months of looking at houses I think I have to say goodbye to your channel. That is a lovely property Nick, but unfortunately my dogs need more outside space, and less close neighbours (If only for the sake of my nerves. Lol) I would hate to think that my neighbours would be disturbed by my dogs. Not fair on them or my dogs. But those outbuildings Fernando said for small animals. Well neither of my 10 Pyrenean Mountain Dogs & Welsh Sheepdogs are small But those outbuildings would convert into perfect good quantity Kennels 😊 Pity that we can't pick up the whole property, and put it down again in a less populated area😀 Great presentation well done both👍

Me, too, curious from the beginning to follow what this quiet builder fellow was up to. Although, I *am* hoping to find a house in Portugal in the not to far future. Until then, I'm happy to tag along... Nick and Sarah shared modest but beautiful content during scary Covid lockdowns, why would I not continue tuning in as Nick earns a living to fund their ongoing dream of their better life in Portugal? Part and parcel of real life ebb and flow, yes? And Nick developed his own income opportunity with viewer feedback curious about what types of properties are available and how we could also consider/approach such a move. With his ongoing team of realtors, Nick's gone from strength to strength. I wish I was in a position to snap up this property. Not quite there yet. This one is vm what I like. I'm sure the right one will come along when I'm ready to join our s/heroes' Destino Portugal. Keep well🌟.

Nick developed this service to earn a living, the very income needed to fund their rebuilding and continuing journey. TBH, I'm a far less vexed without the painfully inappropriate humor that crept in on past property showings and I'm proud of Nick and his ongoing team of professionals and real friends. If I don't score my own house in Portugal through their efforts to showcase a variety of properties, I still am pleased to keep up with Nick and Sarah's journey however it ebbs and flows.
