I just bought the home you’re talking about in SRR that’s 2610sf on 1/3 acre with 38’ deep RV bay for well under $800k. I can’t believe it was on the market for over 30 days. Best deal in town. This is the time to buy. Very few competitors buying and easily refi out of 6.3% rate in a year. When rates drop in next next 3-6 months, home values will climb again. I just hope they put a Home Depot and Trader Joe’s nearby. That would make my life complete. 😀

I personally like for the price Pristine Springs for the water features and Tolls Colina Vista for the Rock Walls in the yards.

probably be better for native Idahoans and still working transplants if builders built smaller, less expensive homes

Great point! while building smaller homes is an option, people can move further away (like what I did) or buy older homes. it wasn’t too long ago when families had 1800 square foot homes and had zero complaints. by comparison, we have moved the goal posts.
