You’re welcome. Don’t start working on any client’s dress without 40-50% deposit. That would make the client committed. Also, the client has to complete the payment before collection. That’s the best way to avoid debtors.

Even if you’re working from home, it’s still important to register your business. Registering your business preserves your business name, and allows you to take loans, etc.

You’re welcome! To be honest, it’s difficult to tell whether a tailor would disappoint a person or not. So it’s good practice to go with tailors that have a good reputation of not disappointing their customers.

Good morning SILEM Please, from observation when making a dress I notice the upper and lower darts DNT align. How can it be corrected? Tx

Ensure you’re using the same span for the top darts and bottom darts. Then when you’re joining the top part to the bottom, align and pin the darts before sewing.
