I'm 58 and lost my wife 2 years ago to a heart attack, she was 7 years older than me. I remember when I first saw her at work she was the most beautiful girl I had ever seen but way out of my league. She always wore high heals and smelled wonderful, I would get so nervous and couldn't speak when she was near. This song had just come out on radio and it put my feelings into words so perfectly, I ran out and bought the cassette. About a week later I overheard her asking one of her girlfriends if they could give her a lift home after work due to some car trouble. Some how I worked up the courage to offer her a lift home.... she said yes!! Everything for the rest of the day was a blur but I do remember this song playing on the way home. Over the years we have laughed about that ride and that song but the feelings never fade, hearing this song makes me cry. I miss you Sandra and will always love you.
