As a 19 year old, I would honestly love to hear "Oh Sheila" at any of those places right now. From the 3 years that I've explored 80's culture, I've seen some good and some bad, but the good outweighed the bad for sure. It literally looked like Heaven on Earth; there was more effort put into making music and everyone could express themselves freely and wildly (although LGBTQ+ acceptance was a work in progress). I love this decade so much, I'm growing my hair out for a kinky-haired mullet! 😎

My older brothers in the mid 70's were into Heavy Metal & Rock.. and my eldest sister Sheila was into R&B and Old School "Funk." Wasn't a Saturday go by without watching Soul Train in the '70's... watching her learn the newest dance moves on the show.. She was an Awesome Sister and dancer.. and enjoy watching Soul Train to this day..
