As a 19 year old, I would honestly love to hear "Oh Sheila" at any of those places right now. From the 3 years that I've explored 80's culture, I've seen some good and some bad, but the good outweighed the bad for sure. It literally looked like Heaven on Earth; there was more effort put into making music and everyone could express themselves freely and wildly (although LGBTQ+ acceptance was a work in progress). I love this decade so much, I'm growing my hair out for a kinky-haired mullet! 😎

Wasn't a Saturday go by without watching Soul Train in the '70's... watching her learn the newest dance moves on the show.. She was an Awesome Sister and dancer.. and enjoy watching Soul Train to this day.. Sorry to hear about your sister. The good thing about these songs are that you have such a good memory of a human being. Imagine that! Some people just hear a song that they like or don't like. When you hear one of these songs, you see and hear and have the scent of memories with your sister as a kid. No one can have those same memories and no one but you will remember her that way. Even though I don't know you, nor did I know her, that's an amazing thing that you will always be able to share with her and only her.
