This brings me back. When the fat sharks first became a thing we had a phantom 2 or 3 and attached a camera and some fat sharks and flew it around like this. I wasnt making KZbin drone content yet. My friend who did it with me recently passed away. This brought back some good memories of the guy.

Ha love it! FPV all the things. I'm working on trying to get fpv ground vehicles to become more mainstream. Rock crawlers and cars. When I Los quads like this and cars, it is a lot of fun, but the fpv experience is so much fun and really adds a difference to the experience. Great video!

Thanks for the comment. I agree - it's surprising that more ground vehicles don't have FPV. The EMAX Interceptor is pretty cool, but there are not many like it out there.

I think the Bugs 3 would work very well. It’s brushless and has more power than the SYMA

Great intro to low cost fpv. Shows how to get started keeping it simple for a fun result. If you are a beginner, find a nice open field to start with - you're watching an experienced flyer here!

I don't see this that way at all. I don't see it as an intro to anything. I see this as simply people that have regular drones wanting to use them with goggles. I would never recommend this as an entry into fpv. Just get an fpv quad. The goggles arent what people need practice with. It's the flying of an fpv quad, which is nothing like a regular camera drone. That's why they have simulators. You don't wear your goggles in the simulator either, that's how unimportant that part of fpv is. This is simply for people that want to add fpv to something that doesn't have it.

When I first started you had to build even the DJI drones I have a F450 a F550 6 prop and had to build the gimble and program everything to work . My biggest home built is 810mm axle to axle almost 5' prop tip to prop tip . I have had a couple of toy's waste of time . But even the toys are far better than when I started . Still waiting for my mavic pro camera cable I have the gimble ribbon but don't want to start till I have everything . Nice flying for a toy !

Great video! I know from experience that the AIO camera's work great on the Syma x5c. Its my favorite one flying around the yard! I even 3d printed a holder for the camera thats ressesed into the front of the x5c.

There's plenty of small akk cameras on Amazon for around $15 or so with 25-200 mw. All you need is a small 1s battery to power it and some 2 sided tape or Velcro to put it in place. Need a link?

I love sticking cameras on the cheap little drones it so much fun to get them to fly check this little camera out I got on amazon Wolfwhoop WT05 Micro AIO 600TVL Camera Only 3.4g 5.8GHz 25mW FPV Transmitter with Dipole Brass Antenna Combo for FPV Quadcopter Drone I just tie it onto the existing battery and velcro it on anything and your off to the races can't tell the exact range but it was better then I expected and surprisingly good video.

I actually used to fly something like that then I got the hubsan 501s. Once I went Brushless GPS RTH I couldn't go back. Now I use the Fimi A3 with the gimbal and 4Hawks XR antenna and I can't go back to the 501s.

Most toy drones have this automatic flip button. You could have a lot of fun with that on fpv

I hope you try my suggestion. It weighs next to nothing. I fly my Parrot Mambo and other small quads with it no problem. You have weight issues on that contraption of yours.
