10 FUNCTIONS OF HR EXECUTIVE Exact JD varies from company to company 1. Recruitment & selection 2. On-boarding & documentation 3. Joining formalities Ees fill Different forms, ID creation, system allocation etc Can be part of On-boarding 4. Leave management (Tracking attendance) 5. Payroll Processing Salary generation. (Watch the video on this specific topic) 6. Policies & Procedures New & existing 7. HR operations Many day to day operations - eg. Event management, ee engagement, short term training sessions 8. Employee Grievance handling eg. Related to leaves, payroll, policies etc 9. Performance appraisal (HR Generalists Perform 15 FUNCTIONS) 10. Exit formalities Exit interviews must be conducted. More : In some companies there might be specific ee for specific function. So, that won't fall under executive's purview. eg. HR recruiter, payroll specialist, legal person for policies & procedures
