Let's forget the aviation aspect for a sec...You just taught this 70 y/o retired Pilot what the future is for A I in my own language. Well done!

@@FatherTime1958 Thanks! I'm fine and all is well. I was serious, though. I can have a 'conversation' with the GPS in my car but it's like speaking to a four year old. You and "Say Intentions" were able to show where all this artificial intelligence tech is headed. You and I will be in that big pilot lounge in heaven, but I can now envision that 797-400 plying the skies with one live Pilot. Remember Flight Engineers? Oh, I was one once...never mind...

I always love when i get a classic father time "wohoo" when the camera is doing something funny. Did you also say that in real life when something special/funny happened? :D Great video! I also wish they would pick always LBS or KGs all around the world like Celsius is in aviation. Would help a lot with simming and probably in real world also. Also the 380 has terrible performance right now just so you know. Its still super laggy with a 4090.

Hi Jeff. In the modern Airbus it's essential to have the thrust levers in the correct detent. The FMA will tell you. After takeoff leave them in climb and don't touch them again until you flare. From what I've read since this plane is in Alpha the engine model is default msfs so the 380 will climb like crazy. I tend to use vs above 10,000. Go into GSX settings and find a checkbox that says something like ignore wingspan, tick it. That will fix the constant parking space is too small problem.

Awesome! Thank you so much!

I love this plane . Jeff , there is an Easteregg hidden from Flybywire. When you click on the security ring from the captains side Fire extinguisher something pops out on the FO side .

How do you have ground traffic?I thought SI does not inject ground traffic yet
@FatherTime1958Ай бұрын
I don’t remember seeing moving ground traffic, however, I did have some radio traffic. I thought that came from my option selections under comm. I’ll check tomorrow.

Not without issues. Kinda sucks to invest in a long flight and then something weird/incurable happens.

True. Such is the life of a flight simmer. I did a Cross the Pond Eastbound last year and had my Horizon 787-9 go uncontrollable on base leg into LHR!

@@FatherTime1958 I might be doing something wrong, who knows. I am just an engineer. Big news on that. They are partnering with ORBX. It appears they may be charging for it in the future. It would be nice to have a ground up 78.
