REAL AE86 CAROLLA GRAVEYARD! - THE FATE OF ILLEGAL STREET DRIFTING IN JAPAN!

I stumbled on a Toyota Corolla AE86 graveyard in Okinawa, Japan. After talking with the owner of the land told us the cars were all impounded due to illegal street drifting & racing which resulted in them becoming abandoned by their owners after they fled the island to avoid jail time.

All the vegetation leaves, shade and having fertile dirt where these cars stayed, is a deadly combination to destroy and corrode cars, also the amount of rain and time these cars endure trough the years of being there really shows that after we humans parish Mother Nature will prevail in the end .

There are reasons why the penalties got so stiff. People got hurt. I 1st went to Japan in February 1990 and I knew guys that crashed, some whose lives were changed forever. There are always regular folks on the roadways and I can only imagine how many innocent victims suffered due to the recklessness of the past. Personally, I was nearly hit numerous times while cycling home from work because I had to take a road that was very popular with street racers. I have no I’ll feelings, but the reality is that shit was crazy back then.
