The part about punching data into the FMC isn't boring, on the contrary it's thorough, very informative and interesting. Every aspect of aviation is fascinating and not boring.

Finally had time to watch this stream to the end. One of the most enjoyable streams in a while IMO! Much thanks to how you had alerts disabled during busy phases of the flight and when explaining stuff. Thanks for that 👍 And comforting to see how also the sun has its spots (referring to the landing 😉) In short, another great stream. Thanks captain!

Another great video - really interesting to hear a professional 737-800 captain commentating on and flying complete flights - thank you for doing it and for making the videos so entertaining! My wife and I used to quite regularly fly with RyanAir on 738s between Stansted and Altenburg Airport (near Leipzig in Germany). Although they have discontinued that route, it would be really interesting to see you fly to Altenburg in the Zibo mod - Altenburg is an historically interesting airport (it used to be a Soviet airbase during the Cold War). The runway there was quite short, so the takeoffs and landings were fun to experience, especially when the aircraft were full.

1:27:00 I didn't have to do that with my fsx. Now I'm using P3D and I still don't have to do that. Now, I use the pmdg 777 so there is maybe bugs in the 737 that are not present in the 777.

Did you know you could just line select the OAT and it will autofill based on the OAT reading on the panel? It will save you a good 10 sec considering all the other multitasking you have going on at the beginning of your streams.

Can you please explain why I get a Gear-Warning at 2500 ft AGL/ 10 mi DN on ILS Glideslope, in your next stream? Extra tip for you: If you set the "depart anouncement" trigger not to "Wing Light" but to the other option, then the crew will close automatic all Doors and hatches for you when you put the ACL on ;) Keep going! ...and fly save* ;) (*Scott Manley)

Nice thanks Slash! Gear Warning horn will always sound if you have.. 1. Gear Up with F30/40 or greater 2. F15-25 - thrust lever below a certain angle 3. Flap Up - F10 - Below 800ft RA and thrust lever below a certain angle So if you were at 2500ft you must've had at least F15 or greater or it's a fault! FD2S

@@flightdeck2sim hi and thanks for this very quick answer! :) Yeah, it's right. Hi had configured flaps15, thrust at about 55-60% when enter the GS. With flaps5 it doesn't occur anymore. Now I will do F15 later around the 4mi final. :)) Thanks again and hope to see more of you soon! Maybe you will visit Munich once? There is a beautiful scenery at the gateway. But be aware: it's a frame-killer. Also a good scenery is EDDM-2018 with autogate at the forum and it has not as much impact on the fps. The option for doors is at "audio features" - "TO announc. I had it yesterday and the day before that in munich was -4°C! :o When I changed to the noaa-data it matched the real world value of about 16°.

Hi Elias! Thanks a lot! I just follow the pre flow we use to configure the aircraft. I don't actually use the checklist during stream, that would usually be read by the PM after the flow is complete to ensure the aircraft was correctly configured. FD2S

Are you actually regularly experiening dual engine failures (after takeoff or short final) with the Zibo? I get it like every second flight, no matter which version of Zibo I´m running. It gets more annyoing from time to time and re-install didn´t help.

I never get engine failures, you need to programme the FMC correctly, or at least watch the engine gauges and keep them out of the red. If you just mash the throttles against the stops you are overspeeding the engines which will overheat and fail, just as the real aircraft would do. The Zibo models this sort of failure, fly it right and it works, treat it like a "toy" and it will break, like a real aircraft would.

Try a fresh install, there should be no failures and I’ve never had any failures unless generated by XP11 👍🏼 FD2S

I recently had two failures in a row which confused me. When I went to start my 3rd flight I could tell something was wrong so I had a look and found a reset button in the main menu after selecting the Zibo plane (I think). This fixed it for me. If you can't find it I'll have a proper look (I'm not in front of my computer right now)
