Hello, I like it, it sound a little bit like come together - the beatles. I got the bass line and chords, I will work solo. In solo Do you always mark the chords changes with the root note?

Studing the solo, I realized that the song use D- harmonic, that's why it uses A7. I'm engineer not musician, so it's fun to see how a concept is applied to a song

Diego, good observation. I actually think of the other round. We always want to hear a major/dominant V chord, so that needs the d harmonic. ;)

Love your playing ,and phrasing the way you solo,Great lesson!!,Question,This May be a stupid one,but I usually see this tune in Cm,So are you doing it in Dm ??and if so just curious why??..lol also in future love this tune,would be great to hear melody and walking over your r&b type bass line!!,can hear in head,be cool to really hear it!!..lolBtw love your lessons,especially jazz ones are very helpful keep them coming please!!..lol😎🤘p.s May just me but the bass line your playing reminds me of footprints!!..lolafter closer listening do hear Melody,guess I’m so used to hearing this fast!!..lol

Kristy, Glad you like it. I liked the sound of the bass line better in D minor. It reminds me also Footprints. When I play a "walking" bass line it is over a swing/jazz feel.
